Is this review coming? Both cards were not really overclocked in their reviews(the 290x was sort of by giving it 100% fan limit).
Considering this is hardocp and considering the audience, people will overclock their cards and thus these results are important. Of course out of practicality...
New pricing on gtx 780 and gtx 770 are the following.
$499 for gtx 780
$329 for gtx 770.
All with a three game bundle and $100 dollars of shield.
So with this in mind and the 290x being out of stock, is this enough to make you jump on a gtx 780 or gtx 770?
I think a lot of owners would not have purchase a crossfire setup based on review performance with runt frames filtered out.
Especially for early adopters who paid $550 or 1100 or more for 2 card at launch for 7970(and they missed on the free games)and might only get a fix this july or 17...

Results look promising. 40% faster than a 7970 ghz edition and 55% faster than a gtx 680.
I think it would be interesting to see what goes on in the mind of the driver teams of both companies. If it was a surprise visit, we could get a more accurate look at how much resources are at the disposal of both driver teams.
It would also provide some interesting insight into the daily...
