At last someone with brains in here.
I hope they drop it very soon. Sooner the better.
Some think that is doing well now with trinity and will last forever. If this arch cannot be improved much further they will be in deep trouble in the near future.
If they keep going on with this architecture they will be ready by 2016. LoL
If they make it that far cause i think they will stop completely making cpus and stick to the graphic cards. LoL
Did not know that about "Sandforce". There is a firmware update i think so i will update to the latest as soon as i receive the ssd and hope for the best. :p
Thanks for the tip, i might need it and ask for a replacement.
They should have dropped this architecture as soon as it came out because they knew that it was a flop before they even released it. Better be late with products than sorry afterwards. Intel controls the market and there is no excuses to the bullshit they have been spreading that this...
True i have also thought of that. What is the point of buying an ssd if you are going to turn most of the tasks to a hard disk? :D
I will just disable sys restore, hibernate and defragmentation. , I think it automatically disables the defragmenter anyway. And i will also check if "trim" is...
If the 8350 can't kick the crap out of my 1090T then i will seriously start thinking about an intel switch. Until they get their shit together with Steamroller.
I hope they drop this stupid design completely with Steamroller. If they know what is the design flaws in this architecture and they are absolutely certain they can fix it will be fine. If not, it will simply mean "death" for AMD. I think they should switch back to "true" cores.
"It should just allow them to achieve higher stock clocks at a given TDP" Exactly, so why did you object when i said i don't see it doing well at 5ghz??
We will see who is correct when its finally out and tested. ;)
Do you have any info? Well quite a few things has changed on the architecture. It will be a better overall chip. For one they said they are going to use the resonant clock mesh. If they did finally use it, it will be interesting to see how well they have implemented that on the chip. I am not...
It should have a great boost on boot time and loading programs. :p
Yeah when SSDs first came out was a real pain in the ass. :D
So i have waited for the technology to mature a bit.
This one i ordered does have "Native TRIM support"
Thanks again for all the info.
Just bought an ssd: OCZ AGT3-25SAT3-120G Agility 3 120GB.
I am planing to install on it win7 64bit, its the first time i am going to use an ssd.
Is there anything i need to know about? Like configurations in win7, bios and all the latest things to protect and use properly my ssd.
I haven't been...
Nice vid but i think intel is up to something.

just use chrome to translate.
Well we will see in april.
They gained market share in other areas, not in servers.
I am guessing those numbers might have dropped for AMD,when they saw how it really performed in the server segment.
AMD lost in the server and workstation segment where it is now at 5.5 percent, which was down 1.5 points.

I think the issue lies into the chipset for windows 8 does not correctly recognize it.
I think that is the issue, and i don't know or think there is a solution around this.
It must be a bug that will be fixed later.
I don't know if there is way to install (or load) those chipset drivers while...
oh really? So now its a gaming site?
So why do i get blasted in here with comments that the bulldozer was server based and its doing very well for what it was designed for?
Why do i get blasted then whenever i criticize this architecture?
Why do i get blasted with all that crap then?
We don't care if its a server processor,we already know that,we don't need you to remind us every single time.
And i don't need a server setup either.
We will see how well it will do in the server space as well.
I think you should go and talk somewhere else about servers.
We are not interested...
I really hope that they have an answer to all this crap amd has bean doing until now.
But it seams they don't give a rats ass for us in the first place.
If i see that vishera is not a move in the right direction,i will never look back again at amd.
If i don't see an effort and its just a server...
Well you can shuv that as much as you want,so we should all just play streetfighter IV? :D
The only problem is that you will wait a long time for that to happen.
If market share was the other way around, you would have a chance for that to happen as you are saying.
I like that line that you have there: The bottom line is that its been easier for Intel and AMD to add cores than it is for software to take advantage of them.
Something that most of them are having a hard time to understand that.
And especially with that type of architecture that BD haves.
Actually i have a 1090t,i can assure you that when i only have 4 cores enabled it boots faster.
If you want to improve performance on boot time just buy some low voltage ram.
1.35v for example. It seams that it does not like above 1.5v on ram when you have all ram slots populated.
Who is trolling here?
If you have your own opinion on things, nobody is holding you back to say what you want to say.
I am not calling you troll, actually i was just trying to help here.
So cut the crap and nonsense.
And don't mention my name again in your posts and after to edit them as if...
Single threaded performance is not a total waste of time in my opinion, actually that is where intel makes the most difference in the total cpu performance.
Ive heard that also,on linux it performs much better.
What is the difference when bulldozer runs on linux?
I mean in witch areas it performs...
Well if you consider the fact that an ivy bridge laptop processor has beaten the 8150 at cinebench, the answer to your question would be no,for now at least.
