Woke up this morning and attempted to get on this site. No Go had to go to another room to reset verizon router (junk). while there realized the i7 box not running, attempted to reset and it was very vocal. 5 beeps and no video..:mad: Not video card (new GTX660 ti) or memory as I replaced both...

Sad photo update : Appears 12v hit the 24pin ATX lines where it should not be as heat damage is showing. Returning PSU to OCX for replacement. When I have some more time will attempt to see if board is fried using a 750w spare psu will check CPUs also. This sucks.

Looked at my 6180 4p this afternoon . no fans running, strange smell in the room.:eek: YUCK all 3 8pin cpu power wire connectors are melted along with lots of insulation. Dont know what damage to board, processors of PSU etc but hope nothing. the board connectors look fine. Also hoping PSU...

Well it is up and running. took a couple pics. SM in a HAF 932 lots of room I did have to move the side intake fan with grill to the top and moved the inside top fan to side. AM2/3 stock fans work fine on the 6166HE with my mods modded Heat Sink post for AM2/3 heatsinks...
