Also in his video he does say by default the no login is on the vty and if you try and telnet with no login it will say something like telnet password net set and disconnect you. The problem is I am not sure which chapter he says it in (i have been watching them also).
See here is the thing. I already did all the searches and crap on their forums and did all their fixes and it didn't fix the issue.
All the vms were created on this one host.
I don't even have the machines added to the host at this point and get the error.
I have even done the shift+o and...
Ok so a little background. I am running ESXi 5 on a Shuttle box with an i7 and 32gig of ram. For drives I have a SSD for running some of the machines and a 2tb drive for storage of ISOs and other files. I plan on putting another SSD in raid soon. I also have a usb to sd reader for the boot...
Yeah you must not have something right on the cooler, mine running prime for about an hour on stock cooler would get to 79 running prime at 3.8. Memory changes in bios aren't possible at this time... hoping that changes.
With water I haven't seen it above 77 but that is with the 201 bios and...
I have a 2700k also with 16gig of G.SKILL Ripjaws X 1600 memory and asetek cooler. I put the multiplier on 45 and it will start prime at 4.5 but slows to 3.9 then 3.8. Stock bios and memory won't run faster then 1333.
I know this is an old post but I see issues like this dhcp issue you have all the time with what I work on (VoIP). If the dhcp server is on a trunk port and not an access port or a port with a voice vlan it will always respond to the dhcp request on the native vlan for some reason.
How long was the V4 down when bringing up the V5? It is possible the switch just didn't change its mac table to match the old ip address to the new mac addresses. Then when you changed the IP address it forced the switch to update its table then the change back forced it again.
Personal use. I know I can't build with different sizes. Was thinking of having the OS on the SAS drives since they should be fastest. And getting a 8 gig sandisk usb drive for the ESXi install.
The biggest question is would it be best to do direct access to all the drives and then use WHS...
I guess it is how should I build the arrays with 4 - 2tb drives, 3 1.5 tb drives and 3 73gig sas drives. Right now I have data on the 1.5s that I will need to save. I am planning on buying a 8gig usb drive to install ESXi 5 on will that work or should I use the 73 gig drives? Does it matter...
I am currently running 2k8R2 with hyperv running a Windows 7 machine and a WHS with direct access to 3-1.5Tb drives. The server is a Dell PE 2900III, E5420, 18Gig of ram and 3-73Gig 15krpm sas drives for 2k8. The server has a PERC 6i card doing raid 5 on the 73gig drives. I have room for 7...
