I am wondering on a 2p AMD system if the ram has to be the same size per cpu ram slots, what I mean is can I put in ( quad channel) 4 1 GB ram on one cpu and 4 2 gb ram for the second CPU ram slots?

As for Linux I actually have Ubuntu installed but am having problems with it, I am going to reboot and boot into Linux right now
so IF I change my system ram from 8-16Gb this could affect things also?.

one I used to always use to stress my CPUs was FAH (folding at home) just set it up to run cpu only that will stress it out 100% I think that you can set it up for anonymous

Well I used to run FAH for Hardwarecanucks until they changed it which made my 2P system pretty much obsolete to get the decent numbers this annoyed me enough to just stopped FAH altogether,
now I guess it would be most points science matters but not as much as points
I used to fold on my 2p system but now I stopped ( no more bigadvantage) also only have a single ES 6234 Opteron which project will give me best bang for the buck.
I also have an SR2 system but currently am having heat problems so that system will be on the back burn project wise until I can...

allot of times when I have gotten Blue screens I would load up a Live...
if it is only happening on one game then most likely it is a driver issue with the game, This used to happen to me when I would play the newest crysis I had to use the Beta Nvid driver and also slightly increase the voltage on my 560ti vid card and it got rid of the problem, I would never had...
