I hear the Corsair's are really loud if you look at reviews on them especially from Overclock3D. If you want a silent setup honestly I would spend another 100$ and install a custom water cooling loop (designed to be quiet).

Are you using the latest drivers? The micro-stuttering problem really worries me but I can't pass out on a deal like that. Here is my dilemma I'm looking to upgrade from GTX 260 Core 216's in SLI so if I go with a single GPU like the 6950, the performance would actually go DOWN.

I really can't pass out on that deal I guess, I know I'll regret not going for it if I did just go with a 6950, guess ill go with the 5970 =) But I'm really looking for the opinions of 5970 owner's, do you guys notice micro-stuttering in a lot of games?

Have you tried plugging the headset to your front panel connectors? That usually works if not make sure it's plugged to something on your motherboard.

You could save some money and get the HP LP2475W, I use it and I game just fine (usually Top 3 in CoD so ghosting is hardly an issue).

Anyone know if there is noticeable difference between 60hz and 120hz when gaming?? I mean if your gonna get a cheap TN panel with 60hz, pretty sure you won't get any ghosting and should see stuff fine even if it's moving really fast. Of course this is just assumption but I have a H-IPS monitor...

Same here somewhat, I find I get smoothest gameplay when I get 90+ FPS with VSync off but if I have VSync on I get input lag. Mind you this is running 2 GTX260 Core 216's in SLI. I always leave Triple-Buffering on though, anyone know if turning it off will improve performance?

Should be good with that PSU but I highly recommend getting a cheap Corsair TX series PSU, the investment is definitely worth it. Will run quieter and more efficient. My old TX750W for example could run a 2600K @5GHz and two GTX 260 Core 216's highly overclocked. The updated version is even better.

Due to crossfire issues past 2 GPU's, I'd recommend GTX 580 sli, you can't go wrong with those cards, if you have the money laying around.

Anyone know if the 5970 will play this game maxed settings at 1920x1200? And when I mean play, I mean smoothly =)
