Wouldn't that still be an issue when using the 1060 though?

I'm under the assumption that this issue was unique to me. If you all think it will happen for anyone then I obviously wouldn't sell it to someone else. Or I would at least tell them about the issues I had.

After playing MW 2 for the past few days with no crashes it seems clear that the GPU is the problem. I'm going to sell it and get a replacement card. Which one would you guys recommend...

It's been 3 days I've been playing MW 2 without a single crash. I will continue testing but it seems like the issue is the 3060 RTX. I will report back after a few days.

The 3060 was used, but the PSU was new. I upgraded because my old PSU didn't have enough power cables for the 3060. I have already gone back to the 1060 and will continue to see if I get any crashes this week.

I have not, but I already replaced it with the 1060. Let me see if I continue to not having any crashes and I will take it from there.

I reinstalled the 1060 and was able to play MW 2 with no issue. I will keep playing it for the next week to see if it crashes. If not then the issue must be the GPU.

That will be my first step. I will go back to the 1060, using DDU to update the drivers, and see if I still get crashes.

I haven't had a chance to try yet. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow night I can.

Wouldn't that be the same as removing them with DDU and/or reinstalling Windows?

I'm using Windows 10, but I don't see why that matters. Everything ran fine with my 1060.
