Well i take back what i said to those who said about no iPhone 5, apparently Apple are slightly retarded. Just a iPhone 4S.....
I hate the design of the 4/4S damnit.
Yeah that's the one, it's brilliant to listen to whilst checking up the engadget blog. It sounds like they're listening/watching a stream from the town hall
I have the OCZ ZX1000W, bought because the reviews show it's awesome (check out jonnyguru's). OCZ really sorted their shit out after the ModXstream days.
It seems awesome to me, but i get some loud coil whine...Though this can happen to any PSU tbh, so i wouldn't give that a complete negative...
I can't be doing with the whole web browser based crap. I'd much prefer it all to be in-game. Also, the Soldier name issue is a complete fuckup.
Gameplay on the otherhand, fantastic.
Just because the game has used 1.5Gb or VRAM at some point doesn't necessarily mean that it needed too.. However, it does seem quite close for the GTX580, still dead smooth though by the looks of things.
Also, constant 99% usage, nice! That's what i like to see :)
Can anyone report on...
Go for the cheapest out of the 3 (Asus Matrix, MSI Lightning and EVGA Classified), they'll all overclock near enough the same at resonable temperatures.
The classified is a waste unless you're doing SLI close together due to it's fan design or extreme cooling due to the different cooling...
Indeed.
So far i'm not impressed with Origin. I decided to get BF:BC2 on the cheap to play around on briefly, did this through Origin.
Couldn't install the game without copying the installation files to the root of the drive, and then installing it manually into the location where Origin...
I'm going to be using Origin only for games that require Origin (BF3). Steam is by far easier to use and has a crap-load of games and friends on it.
IMO, Origin is too late.
Just to steal the thread a little.
I'm running an SSD (Not RAID) and 2xHDD (in RAID-0) on the same controller with it set to 'RAID' in the BIOS.
Would this have any affect on the SSD?
I'm getting 88c Max with a custom fan profile that tops off at 80% until 90c where it'll go to 100% fan speed.
This is with a 9600GT up against it though, replacing it with a low profile GT 520 which will bring the temperatures down.
Changing the subject here, what're people getting out of...
Hardly a source really though aye? Lets see some performance reviews at least.
While we're talking about the official requirements up on the Beta site. Do you think that's for the game in total or just the same damn Metro level again?
Haha, ok good find tbh.
Will there be any restrictions in what connections to use. They all have the ability up to 2 outputs obviously, but would any of these cards restrict me to having to use the VGA for one of the connections or will it be fine DVI + HDMI?
Thanks!
The 5450 would indeed, but i should've said this will be in with a GTX 580, i don't want to mix AMD/ATi with nVidia really, that's just asking for driver issues.
Hi all.
I am looking for a cheap passive graphics card to run 2x 1920x1080 monitors via DVI/HDMI. The most the card will be doing is running W7 desktop with Aero enabled and maybe a video running, no games will be played.
I was thinking of the Asus GT 520 Silent and hooking up the monitors via...
I thought that DICE said there was mass realtime destruction on a whole new level but had to be removed from multiplayer because it was far too demanding with the amount of players involved as well? I swear someone posted a link in the BF3 thread about that a while ago. Good luck finding it...
Not sure if this has been posted yet but here you go.

Maximum Bandwidth: 4 GB/s
Read IOPS: 320 K IOPS
Write IOPS: 320 K IOPS
I'll take 2 :D
Thanks for posting! :)
I'm definitely going to be upgrading to LGA2011 but not until IvyBridge is out for it. So mid 2012, i'm sure my 920 can hold on a little longer :p
I have the Asus Matrix Platinum with a 9600GT right up against the fans, it runs about 5-10c hotter.
One thing i have noticed, the backplate gets quite warm on the Asus Matrix Platinum, and maybe with you having another GTX 580 DirectCU up against the backplate is drawing hot air from it? I...
