Nice review! Glad MSI is getting noticed once again. I own the MSI Z170A Gaming M9 ACK mobo and love it. It's one solid mobo and handles everything I throw at it. But this MSI Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION sure has my attention. You guy's should do a review on the MSI Z170A Gaming M9 ACK...
For me it I picked up the MSI Z170A GAMING M9 ACK. Going to give it shot. My build is just under way as my parts started shipping out last week. I'm not sure how this board is going to be. I like what it offers. Love this feature "Keeping your system cool in the heat of battle, the heatsink...
That's what I love to hear and see. XFire a 7970 with the new 280x! That's just bad ass. I love it! Thanks for the awesome news. I just picked up a new 7970 so I'm in luck. Then I might add a QNIX screen to run it. Still thinking about that one. It might happen. Not sure yet!
Just got my card in last night after I had to replace my mobo! I have it clocked at 1025core/ 1325memory and it's kicks some serious ass. And it's so damn quiet. So far, so good!
I ended up ordering it on Saturday and was wondering if anyone here at this forum owns one and how does it perform for you? I can only take the customer reviews at New Egg so far. I want some in depth information on it. Thank you!
HIS IceQ X² H797QM3G2M Radeon HD 7970 3GB
So what did you do to fix your issue? Did you replace your flaky PSU with a new PSU?
Just know I haven't had a single issue at all! My mobo boots up fast! And it overclocks excellent!
On a side note:
If this board makes through my one month of torture tests which I believe it will. So far it's survived some burn runs and P95!
I have to say this board is solid and overclocks easy. Great board and I'm glad I own it!
Got my Gigabyte put in last night. I love it. The only thing I do not like about this board is the placement of the USB 2.0 internal ports. Only two on in between the TMP and the sysfan 4! I would have liked to see another USB 2.0 port there making it 3 instead of 2. Bad placement IMO.That's the...
Sorry to hear that happened to you. I just ordered this mobo last night! I'm hoping I don't run into any problems! Good luck on getting it all fixed and resolved!
This is the case I won from NZXT in their sweepstakes bundle giveaway with techPowerUp. They saved me $250 and then some! Thanks NZXT!
Nice review like always!
Got my new Sapphire 7870 yesterday and all I can say is I love this thing. It's a beast! It's very quiet and stays very cool. This is definitely an upgrade over my 6870!
This card will need to last me for at least 2-3 years. I'll eventually update to X-fire probably in October of this year. If...
I'm still waiting on UPS to get here. Not very many reviews about the OCing or X-fire information on these GPU's yet. I'm sure we'll see some soon enough. I know motherboards.org did some pretty good videos on them at YouTube. Might want to check them out.
Here's a video review in regards to...
Well I get it tomorrow sometime. Every review I've read said it's a pretty bad ass card for the money. Time to say goodbye to my XFX 6870. I'm pretty excited to be putting it in my rig. Should help out my gaming experiencing while playing BF3.
Way overpriced PSU. Come on you can get a gold certified PSU and be just has happy with it as you would be with the SeaSonic 860X! That price tag killed me. And I was going to order that bad mofo! Damn I'm glad I didn't it!
Last week my ASRock mobo took a dive. The PCI e slot #1 stopped working. RMA'd it last Thursday and ordered up this bad boy board! So far, so good. Not a single issue. Have it clocked at 4.7 GHz and no hiccups at all. Now I have two z68 boards. My ASRock will be my back up mobo for now.
I'd have to say NZXT Hale 90 850W PSU it's been nothing but solid. Priced pretty decent and it works just find for my needs. I have had it since Oct. 2011 and haven't looked back.
Those are very nice PSU's! Very expensive too! I'm happy with my NZXT HALE90 850W beast! $219 for the 860W is way out of my budget. Got my 850W for like $160! Platinum is nice but Gold is still sweet!
No reason to format! Pop that bad boy in that socket and maybe do a CMOS and that's about it. I just swapped out my 2500k for my new 2700k from Intel I got a few days ago.
The 2700k is a bad ass MOFO CPU! Expect 10-25% increase in performance. I love it!
I guess some of us have gotten lucky without all the issues Kyle ran into. Mine wasn't warped or bent. I checked everything out before I installed it into my case. My buddy just bought a MSI Z68A-GD80 (G3) and it was DOA. So it happens to all companies not just ASRock. It's a risk when buying...
Super Flower is an OEM (like Seasonic, Delta, CWT, etc), Golden Green is a product line/platform from them.. it's one of the best Gold platforms on the market(on par with Seasonic X/Corsair AX).. you can buy it under the Super Flower brand in Europe and Asia.. and in NA you can find it in a few...
Last night I decided to go with the this bad boy!! After researching this for awhile and reading about it at jonnyGURU.com which he highly recommended it. So I pulled the trigger on it and I have to say I'm very happy I did. Sharing is caring! ;)
From this threadon the nVidia forums:
I want to give everyone a quick update on some of the bugs mentioned in this thread:
1) Battlefield 3 bugs - So far we have been able to reproduce the major Battlefield 3 issues and have marked this as must fix for the upcoming driver in November...
Well I just wanted everyone to know! I think I'll make a thread for the folks here so they can see what's going on. I just got my EVGA GTX 560 a few days ago.
And I'm sure nVidia has many users cards with them now. Give it a few days or more until we hear anything about a fix.
