TBH, it's all luck trying to get a good pcb. Some ppl get cards that can clock to 1000mhz on air and some cant even get past 850.

Some companies bin the cards some don't. I wouldnt rely on it. Most OC are just regular cards.

Get the SLI560 TI. You won't need the extra vram from the 6950s.

I run a 580 in 1080p maxes all games fine. But my cpu is bottlenecking it a small bit. need to get a 2500k

The h100 is pretty good from benchmarks and reviews. I would say they make blows to each other in terms of different settings. Maybe the Noctua performs better under load than the h100, but the h100 has better idle temps.

Yah, something doesnt sound right with your idle temps. Have you tried reapplying TIM to it. Dont do it if your warranty is still intact. Just RMA if it is.

Yep if your resolution is only 1080p there is no reason to get crossfire/sli. Just get the best card your money can buy in a single gpu set up. 6950 2gb is great because of unlockable to 6970 and 2gb vram

A decent aftermarket cooler costs about that. What temps is your gpu at idle/load and what are your ambient temps

It's a faulty psu, same thing happened to my psu. Would boot fans for few seconds then go out. Just rma it.

Yah I believe some newer custom pcb's like the msi twin frozr III stil lhave the bios switch and can be unlocked still.

I think its worth it. at 1080 with new games coming out theres a good chance it might use over 1gvram. so i suggest the 6950

Accelero xtreme plus works great should lower temps by a good 5-7C. or you can try reapplying paste.
