Doubt you'll need more than 1 for this game with full stacks. You will definitely want to go into the user_script and double the unit size to make use of that money you burned.
Not sure why you think Brave New World would be in the sale, but you can definitely expect Civ V, G&K and all the other DLC be on a good sale to push the sales of BNW.
Batman Arkham City
Prison Architecht
Kerbal Space Programme
Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai
Bioshock Infinity
I don't even know...
Firstly, that online mode looked amazing. How many people was that?!
Anyway, I agree that didn't all look on PS3/XBOX 360. Some of it did, but some of it also looked a class above with the lighting etc. Or maybe I'm just seeing what I want to see.
Overall though it does look very very good...
No competition really. That's basically how the cookie crumbles unfortunately, we need AMD to get their act together... hopefully with Steamroller.
On the other hand, we are tackling this generation from the point of view of a desktop user where Intel are blatantly focusing on the mobile...
So tempted to go for an Ivy Bridge. Assuming I can get around a 4.5-4.6gHz overclock it would be faster I'm assuming to a 4.2gHz AssWell, potentially with the same heat output!
Makes more sense, I assumed it would translate and be just as poorly performing at the stock temperatures as well. Will take a peak at Sandy-E but more likely going to go for a 4.2-4.4gHz Haswell OC.
i5 750 here, if I was on a i7 920 I would probably not even bother. Moving to an i7 4770K with a modest overclock hopefully to 4.4gHz.
This is definitely a big deal for the mobile market so I can't complain too much, I expected a marginal performance boost desktop-wise. From my stock i5 750 I...
I've gone the other way to this. On an i5 750 but going to a i7 4770K not to mention being able to overclock it at all (never tried with my 750) I should see a worthy jump in performance. I hope.
I was literally on the fence though, and really the only reason I'm going ahead is because I've...
I certainly am but obviously waiting to see how many of these rumours are well founded.
Not sure how it will play out but depending on launch titles/hype I think I will stick to PC gaming for as long as possible.
How is it nonsense? You took my post completely out of context.
Apple have set their own bar high and they will feel the pressure to attain it. We are hearing about the Apple TV and smart-clothing all the time which I am sure Steve roadmapped so I imagine there will be innovative products...
The Mac Mini is a novelty in my eyes, the Macbook Pro is a portable device but could be ideal (still overpriced) and the Mac Pro is disgracefully expensive for what he needs. The iMac is the only one left, if he really insists on going Apple.
Still can't beat a high-specced Windows based PC...
I don't like how Microsoft are ramming this tablet/touch stuff down our throats with Windows 8 and that Kinect dashboard, and I will probably stick with Windows 7 as long as I can.
But I have to admit Apple need a new killer product to avoid being branded as lacking that innovative quality...
I have never been impressed with EA, they have zero interest in the customer and focus on pure money-milking, and then shaking out every last drop they can.
They took microtransactions and pumped it full of steroids, spamming any game they can with them. They bring out ridiculous DLC weeks...
It's all about 5760x1080 baby!
edit: that is the demo, and it only properly works in-game at the minute. The problem are the menus that seem to be too zoomed/cropped.
The entire game is in BETA unfortunately. It will be a good game in 12 months provided they increase map sizes amongst other thing. More likely they are working on the first expansion and ignoring the problems though.
Problems for me are city sizes, poor AI coding, lack of variety (all cities...
I got a Far Car pack with every game including 3 for £3.49 haha. Still need to install it tho.
No idea how he typed £3.49 when it went up to £70 after.
Does metacritic even matter? The critic scores are likely bought and the user-scores are more often than not skewed by idiots with radical views.
As for cracking always online games surely the game files can be pulled or potentially leaked from somewhere? Then all you need is a mod and it...
I've played a fair bit so far, but my first city was a failure. The servers issues are down simply to poor preparation, and they should have done an open BETA to test the functionality instead of extrapolating closed BETA figures. Silly peoples.
Error 37 is baaaaaaaack. I expect this will be an issue for at least the first week of launch. Since European players can access NA servers it will likely be a problem on Friday as well.
Hey guys I'd love to join.
Origin ID: Jonesy lmao
City Name: Las Venturas
Description: Primarily a green casino town mixed with aspects of tourism. Likely to have very little industry except for set-up and make revenue off the casinos so green, going to make sure crime is controlled. Note...
The entire poll is inaccurate, but what can you do. Multi-voters and people who only play EOC but wanted to help out askew it slightly.
I'd personally rather pay some even if we hit 500k (we won't but they have said they might round up) because if it makes them money they are likely to keep it...
If SimCity was on Steam I'd have gone for that. I cannot be bothered with having 2 clients and EA are just being a pain in the backside doing it in the first place.
There is a lot of annoying comments from the odd community supporting Jagex. People demanding NO changes, even if they would be beneficial such as the resolution changes. Others are demanding changes like Grand Exchange etc which would make it a modern RS completely defeating the point :P...
Think I was 2005-2007 (early).
I think I used to love playing RS INSTEAD of doing my school work :P
The nostalgia is a nice feeling though. I expect it to be ruined in one way or another in the future but for now I am happy.
Give it a go, I moved from RS to WoW at some point but now I am older I can see that RS is more rewarding in a lot of ways.
I wish they hadn't broken SWG. Had so much potential. SWG 2 would have been better than SWTOR.
Thank you Jagex, you have redeemed yourself in my opinion.
The game I - and potentially a lot of you - loved about 7 years or more ago has been brought back due to popular demand. I imagine it is due to the huge popularity of the 2006scape server proving to Jagex two home truths:
1. They...
Zelda/Mario/Sonic etc are all very old IP's and Nintendo really need to up their game now. I think of them like Blackberry trying to compete with Android and Apple in the smartphone world.
The Wii U is what the Wii should have been in the first place, and although Nintendo have a dedicated...
My only gripe with DLC is when it is so soon after launch and could quite blatantly have been in at launch. In some cases it was already even in the code and just locked out at launch (or so I've heard).
In the case of Sim City and The Sims I don't mind DLC as long as it is expansions and not...
I like the Crossover too, but there doesn't seem to be a model I can find that has multiple input/output ports. Desperately want a HDMI port as well for my XBOX.
Looking into a 27" 1440p for myself for Christmas and the Korean ones look intriguing but also seem like a very risky proposition. I would (knowing me as I do) get a problem child and end up having to live with it or send it back for a small fortune.
