I would like for you guys to know that the RL-26 ball bearing rails will be one sale again (around 30 days from now). I wrote a nice letter to Mike over at Norco a couple of days ago and I guess somehow they were convinced that these new rails are a problem.

The card comes attached to the plate and it can fit into any server chassis and universal. As far as screwing the card into the chassis, I can't answer that for you.
That is it, just the plate, the card, and documentation. Also some additional screw in post in case you want to add another card on top of the original. I think it is used for those server cases with over 36 bays that chenbro and supermicro sell.

It should be fine to setup as a JBOD, I think it would be better this way so that I don't have to plug a USB CD drive into it from the rear.

I believe that norco changed the rails. The last set you have is the same model that I have and it was ok, but I notice some flexing on the rails with with rpc4224 fully loaded. I see that they make the metal thicker on the newer one, but if it doesn't have the ball bearings, then I don't want...
