Hi Raja,
So I'm back again about the USB3 front panel issues with my Corsair Carbide 300R case... I received another new front panel from Corsair last night and plugged it in and still had the same issues! So I sent the new front panel home with a friend with an MSI motherboard, and while he...
Oh yes, definite thank you to jkramp! I was about ready to pull apart my computer; thanks to him and Copyright I just have to bug Corsair again.
However, I'd definitely be willing to write a good note for you, Raja, if there's a good place to send that. Just gotta let me know either here or...
Hi Raja, got my cable in today and tested out the drive. It mounts just fine, thus it must be Corsair's USB 3 I/O panel (again). Thanks for the help, it is greatly appreciated! Is there a place one can leave feedback for you?
Indeed, the computer hasn't entered sleep mode when this issue occurs. I did try cisco guy's suggestion though and unfortunately it made no difference.
Yeah, my first I/O panel had one port that wouldn't do anything but power my devices so I needed to get it replaced anyway. I've decided to...
Hmm, okay, then maybe Corsair did indeed send me another bad I/O panel. D'oh! Thanks for the heads up Copyright! Were you having problems similar to mine?
Hmm, well the drive works without issue on my laptop and when I use the rear IO ports. I'm assuming that if the drive didn't work on the rear ports as well then it would be a motherboard issue? And so my next step should be to go bother Corsair again? Haha.
I've run into a small problem with my Z87-Pro regarding my USB 3 ports on the front of my case (the ones that connect via the USB 3 connector on the motherboard, near the 24-pin power connector). I can't seem to get my WD Elements 1TB external drive (apologies for the NewEgg link, I do not have...
Hi Raja,
Think I found a slight oversight in BIOS version 1007 on my Z87-Pro: When one enables Adaptive Mode for the CPU Core Voltage, the Total Adaptive Mode CPU Core Voltage does not reflect the changes made to the Offset Mode Sign unless the CPU Core Voltage Offset is reentered again. I...
Hey Raja,
Just rebooted my computer and it has come back, requiring me to hide it again. Might need a patch if it isn't too much trouble. :) Running Windows 8 Pro, Z87-Pro, and an i5-4670K. Thank you!
Yep, it looks like if you just right click the the icon in the tray, there's an option where you can deselect the "ASUS Mini Bar" as it's called. It seems to be completely hidden now, at least that's what it looks like through TeamViewer. Thanks Raja!
Hi Raja,
Is there an option in AI Suite III to turn off this little bar here?
I can't seem to find an option to turn it off...I might be blind though! Thanks for your help!
Edit: I do know I can shrink it by clicking the arrow, but it sticks out just enough to cause issues (like covering...
Looking at the Gigabyte Z87X-UD5H, ASUS Z87-Pro, or the ASUS ROG Maximus VI Hero. Kind of basing my choices around the prices of equivalent Z77 motherboards and different rumors and such I've read. The last motherboard I bought was made by aBit, so I've been out of the game for a little bit.
Specifically buckling spring, they are still manufactured today by Unicomp.
Otherwise, there are a few other types of mechanical keyboards, the most popular being keyboards using Cherry MX switches (such as the Ducky Shine, DasKeyboard, and Logitech G710+.)
Been looking forward to this. I wish they would have gotten it out sooner as now I have to divide my limited time between both GW2 and TL2 but I'm glad it actually came to fruition! The first one kept me entertained for awhile and I'm sure this one will as well.
Before I begin, this is MY opinion of the game. I do enjoy Guild Wars 2 and will continue to play it. The "end all, be all" statement is "to each his own;" nothing I say will change your overall opinion, and nothing you say will change my overall opinion. I just want to comment on your points to...

Wasn't there also one called "bigmomma?"
Well, mine is a joke between myself and a few friends. It stuck after awhile, but I don't think I get too much flack for it even though I'm in my twenties. More laughs than anything. I do agree though, often the username can hint toward one's name or even how one may act.
Just wanted to see a couple more opinions, that is all. I did post it at something like midnight my time, could very well limit my thread's exposure to those who DON'T think it's a good idea.
Thanks to all that replied. It doesn't really seem that buying it a year or so before I actually...
I am aware of this. However, I was considerably younger back then and did not think of these things like I do now. Trust me, now that it's been five years, I see all the stupid mistakes I made and I aim not to make them again, hence this thread. However, I do appreciate your input and the input...
Hi guys,
I have an older rig, sporting an aBit IP35-E and a Q9550 at stock speeds (I tend to drag out my upgrade cycles), and I'm wondering about the practicality of putting an SSD into my rig. My mobo's BIOS do NOT have the option of switching to a RAID or AHCI mode for the SATA ports, nor...
The first time I ran UPlay, it felt like it wasn't polished enough to me due to little issues I saw (lack of error messages for one; couldn't figure out why I couldn't register for an account and I think it turned out to be that UPlay accounts weren't allowed to have symbols in the password or...
Agreed. The first one just didn't hook me... Steam says I have about 3 hours in it, and that's on and off attempting to get into it... while I have 86 hours with TW2 (I started with TW2, then bought TW afterward as I liked the second one so much). Plus, I feel good about supporting CD Projekt...
I see your point. I don't know, I guess if you look at it with that attitude, the other two endings have you enslaving a "race" of sentient beings or destroying them and other sentient synthetic beings. I guess it helps me deal with a less than satisfactory ending by being as optimistic as I can...
Agreed. I'll sometimes buy a game that people claim is bad but is cheap just because I want to play something else in the series and give it a go (such as Dragon Age II; not many seem to like it compared to Dragon Age: Origins, but for $5 I can't be too bummed about it).
Could you explain to me why you're appalled by the Synthesis ending? Maybe I have a twisted sense of reality, but I thought it was a decent "neutral" choice for what the ending as a whole was.
Thanks for the reply HisSvt76! I ended up taking a chance and while I didn't get much for some of the games and thus didn't apply for the deal you posted, I ended up being able to get the $20 Steam Wallet card and a little extra in store credit (which I may never use unless I decide to go in and...
Hi guys,
So I've got a bunch of old 360 and Wii games that I'd like to get rid of and get some money in return in time for the Steam Summer Sale. However, I'm looking for the best deal for me.
I was considering dropping by the local Gamestop to get rid of these, but I have heard that they...
I disagree: The Dervish is plenty good for a primary for PvE, as are the rest of the professions. Large, AoE Physical damage is pretty nice; it's all about how one plays his or her character. Having played a Dervish as my primary character for a couple of years (I even bought Obsidian Armor for...
When you say "Nightfall characters," do you mean the professions or just a character started in Nightfall in general?
Using this Wiki link on the professions as a reference, the "Core Professions," or the professions introduced with the original game (Prophecies) can be started in any of the...
