So, I finally ordered parts for my first WC build!

Haha, it did cost a little more than $8 dollars but I'm mostly OK with that :) It is a PWM signal on the fourth fan header for the 5 LT; the first 3 are DC control. In the newer 6 version all the fan headers can do PWM signal but they don't make one without a display and I didn't want to spend...

    Pump Noise

I had my D5 mounted using one of the EK backets and noticed that it was still pretty noisy in my case. I got ahold of the Phobya Noise Destructor kit from TitanRig on Amazon and used the sticky pads to attach the D5 bracket and the other sticky part to attach to my case and that cut down on...

So, I finally ordered parts for my first WC build!

I've got an Aquaero 5LT that I'm using for fan control; it's a pretty neat little device. I've got it set up with my radiator fans on the PWM channel and two temperature sensors; one ambient case and one coolant in the reservoir. In the Aquasuite software I have a virtual sensor that is the...

Does NewEgg do refunds for a graphics card? I thought it was replacement only from them, but you might be able to talk them into a refund. Worst case, water-cooled PhysX 1080 ;)

    The Jerkerfinity (image intense)

Lookin' good. Beats the hell out of paying 250+ for a stand.

    Homemade Triple Monitor Stand

Ah, nah, I didn't read it like that :) I was just thinking out how to do portrait. Besides, not my invention :) It's a pretty straight forward thing, plenty of other ones have been made, like DrFish's. Haha, I've been in there for about 2 1/2 years now. I try to keep it fairly clutter free...

    Homemade Triple Monitor Stand

Office Depot :) And yea, I plan on finishing up the base. I wasn't sure when I initially built it if that was the route I wanted to go, but now that I've been running it for a while I just need to become un-lazy and paint it. As for rotating the monitors to portrait, I could see doing it...

    Post your workstations 2011

I remember seeing some of those when I was looking for ideas on what to do. I initially tried to use PVC, but stuff that didn't sag was about huge, so I went back to the 3/8th inch iron. I think it works out pretty good for the cost. Not as adjustable (I can accidently tilt and pan mine due to...

    Post your workstations 2011

It's a custom made stand. Here's a pic from the back: Mixture of black iron and galvanized (some of the nipples my hardware stores didn't have in black iron). The base has the top part then a side piece that captures it on the edge of my desk so I don't have to worry about it falling over...

    The Lian Li Gallery

Still in the process of getting all the cables worked out. I had to drill a 120mm hole into the side for another fan, so I'm using just a junk fan I had in the closet until my new one arrives. PC-9F case, I really like it. It's not huge, but it's got room for 2x 120mm in the front, 1x 120mm...
