Smr isn't evil but... Increased size at the cost of latency, and seek time, and read times especially, write times are also affected if I remember correctly. Just everything about smr is slower but the benefit is bigger capacity.
Not the only way yuzu runs well on the deck... But I suppose running switch games on the deck doesn't count as 1st party.
But like was said comparing them is not really fair.
Sounds like you don't own a steam deck or know what you're talking about. Switch and deck have very similar battery lives. The deck has a bigger library of games. Anything released on steam for current Gen will likely play on the deck at the same performance as a switch or better than switch...
We are talking about first party titles if Microsoft puts out a first party title and only releases it on micrsofts platform that is 100% their money once development is paid the rest is profit
On other platforms it is whatever deal the two companies cut for example if Microsoft wanted starfield...
Bottom line is 2 or 3 game unit sales is more profitable than a single console so why be exclusive to force console sales when you could either timed exclusive or just release on all platforms and ship more units. Overall vs controlling the market forcing support for one console over another
Sony is being a little bit butthurt over Microsoft owning Bethesda and Activision. They are trying to use a monopoly defence. To try for force Microsoft to not make certain titles that did not used to be exclusive exclusive to non Sony platforms.
Exclusivity is stupid anyway the profit on...
Me too I have some as3 and creamique too and some epoxy and the cleaning kit. And 3 or 4 tubes of as5.
To the op did you wait the 48 hours and do heat cycles like the directions say on the as5 supposedly after the break in period it works it's best.
The problem isnt at the device those are standardized the problem is at the psu side which is manufacture dependant. Pc mag actually has diagrams of them which i found after the fact...
Yeah I have 3-4 Corsair bags kicking around this is my first evga modular so I grabbed a Corsair SATA cable checked that the perif socket had the same pinout as the sata socket then plugged away not checking that Corsair pinned theirs out the same...
The burn marks on the metal top are normally over the cluster I did a closeup on the two caps on either side of it looked more cooked than they do now as some of the stuff scratched off. Not great with smd rework and nothing exceptionally valuable on the drive just a windows 10 install for a...
I'll post pics of the carnage if you want later there are small burn marks on the SSD power management area. Not sure if replacing some caps will bring it back. Not much else to see...
Here is a list of drives that do not like receiving the wrong voltages on multiple rails.
Lg blu-ray player
WD blue sata SSD
Seagate momentus 500 gb 2.5inch
They received 5v to the 3.3 and 12v to the 5v lines while the 5v got 3.3 or 0 I had a diagram saying the 3.3 line was not populated on...
a first gen launch fully hackable one and i have not used the nes, snes, sega emulator much i just remember having to have a subscription to use it and need a extra pass for n64 so they download on demand and remain nested in the emulator that requires subscription
as it requires internet access to play them and the games stream to the switch so how is that not cloud based also the subscription service is needed and expansion to play 64 games
Im 356 days from 40 still game have an expanding collection no kids or plan to have any at this late point in my life. So might as well game. Also my 20 year chip was last year....
In the articles you quoted first off. The steam deck testing was done with Windows and Windows drivers for it are in beta at best and just got released....
And the switch article you quoted I think you might want to read it... It says the switch had an average consumption 11w fully charged...
https://store.steampowered.com/steamdeck#SaleSection_24468 ill highlight the important part also i believe it is hard capped at 15w
AMD APU
CPU: Zen 2 4c/8t, 2.4-3.5GHz (up to 448 GFlops FP32)
GPU: 8 RDNA 2 CUs, 1.0-1.6GHz (up to 1.6 TFlops FP32)
APU power: 4-15W
the clones on the other hand...
the apu in the steam deck is a 4-15w tdp the switch is around 7w tdp all of the competitors do 4-28w tdp and can run AAA games at decent FPS.... and steam deck battery life is 2-10 hours depending on where in that power envelope you are running it. as for moving to apples to apples comparison...
Guys the next switch has not been planned yet... Nintendo is gonna beat more out of current hardware.
And i would not be shocked if nintendo went to a zen 4 based apu for the switch 2 cause guys lets be frank here it isnt going to be a switch pro. It is going to be a full new console. And...

Humm on one hand I have a laptop with a rtx 2070 in it which plays everything on ultra at 1080p. The steam deck would be more portable easier to pull out and play more often... Or... I could cancel and get a Ayn odin pro... Smaller android powered handheld.... Sd845 in a switch like device...
yeah i didnt like the feel of the replacements either and ended up buying another set of genuine joycon's and reshelling them this time not breaking the zr and zl buttons. the shells after a year are cracked around the - button and above the analog stick which has been replaced 4 times now. I...
good luck the ribbon cable and button don't replace well i broke 2 of them the replacement cables do not feel the same. Also the replacement shells like you have seem to break and crack easier than normal abs ones.
I am really liking...
When was the last time you used linux it is alot better than it used to be but if you are not very well versed in some things there are issues that can happen and some things you need to manually do.
As for what has been said. Yes windows even pro does not let you choose to not install some...
That is even if they need to do that most of these games are out on the net days before release with a series of patches and a CD key generator drm is a joke it does nothing but break the rushed spaghetti code most games are shipped with these days. I am positive the latest cod will be no different.
That will be a neat trick how will the ban work banning dynamic ip address? Battle.net accounts? So.... Yeah that will work great... Besides when do cheaters care about throw away accounts.
I counter the offer of cheater free multiplayer with...
1. Pirated hacked copies
2. Hacks to circumvent drm
my laptop doesn't have ads but my tv i have to fight with it identical installs of software but the tv keeps letting ads past and turning off ad block.
No for editing photos you need lots of ram and vram the reasons you would want read and write speed is if you needed to access multiple images in parallel it can eat lots of ram and with many layers more and more ram so yes raw space is more valuable than faster. But still photo editing is not...
