Can anyone tell me what key/keys to hit on boot to get to the ADVANCED BIOS settings on a Sager 9880? The BIOS is a "Phoenix cME FirstBIOS pro" and I have been looking everywhere for an answer. Phoenix's support site says that the key combination is set by the manufacturer. Please help.

I have a Sager 9880 with 1gb ram (2x512) DDR2 4300. I have 4 memory slots total and I have 2x512 DDR2 4200 sticks I'm trying to put in and I'm having a problem. I put all 4 in and my screen stays blank when I try to turn on my computer. I take one stick out ( I have 2 old sticks and 1 new stick...

My mom is looking for a nice cheap laptop for work. She will also use it for a little photo editing.
Want she wants:
15.4" screen
512mb ram
pentium M
under $1000 (the cheaper the better)
Any suggestions? I'm not too familiar with the notebook scene so...
Thanks,

I'm looking into getting a car adapter for my laptop but I'm not sure of the power requirements I need. I know my laptop uses a lot of power. It's a Sager 9880 with a 6800 go Ultra and a 17" screen. The freaking power supply is HUGE and battery life is like 45 minutes max. Well, the best adapter...
Can anyone point me in the direction of some comparisons between the 6800 go and the ATI equivalent? (x800 mobility?) I plan on buying a gaming laptop in about 3 months and would like to get top of the line. Thanks
I'm running it on system in sig, 1024x768 everything turned up pretty high and it does "OK". Ram is a HUGE help. I can't imagine running it with less than 1gb. I had my page file set to 512mb and had to increase it because I ran out of virtual memory! This is with NOTHING else running...
Audio and lan is onboard so there are no PCI cards. I have tried only processor, ram (1 stick of 512 double sided Also tried 1 stick of 256 double sided) video card, HD, and only the power button cable hooked up. With a ps2 keyboard with and without my USB mouse. Will try with no HD next...
Need a little help here. I am putting together a computer for a friend of mine. He bought all the parts from newegg:
XP 3200+
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe
Radeon 9800pro
1024mb Generic ram (2x512 sticks)
80gb WD 7200rpm HD
Thermalright slk800 HSF

I get it...
Well, I got my fUnc pad and teflon tape in the mail today. Tested it out and it is a HUGE difference over my old pad! I put them side by side and tried them both, after using the fUnc pad it felt like I really had to push the mouse over the other pad. Played some BF:V and it was awesome. Much...
Make sure you have chipset drivers for your motherboard installed. Make sure you have the power cable to the 9800 plugged in and it's getting adequate power. I've heard that if they don't get enough power they still work but don't perform well. How big is your PSU? Just a shot in the dark...
Well, I ordered the fUnc pad. I also got some teflon tape for my mouse feet so they don't wear off. Right now I'm using an old foam pad that came with the first Max Payne, so it should be a pretty good improvement.
I'm not going to spend $150 on a joystick. Especially when I'm going to use it mostly for Battlefield. If I were going to play flight sims I might think about it. Thanks for the reply though.
SKiTLz,
Didn't mean to direct all that at you. The first little paragraph was my reply to your post. The rest was me ranting about how people whine constantly about the game and can't get over it. That post really belongs in the official EA BF:V forums ( http://tinyurl.com/2fob5 ). 99% of...
If I were EA / Dice I would beat the hell out of it too. It's a very good game and it's making them money. Thats what they're trying to do, and if we keep buying the "same" game with minor improvements they will keep selling it to us.
People need to lighten up. it's JUST A GAME! For christ...
Saitek here I come. It's been less than an hour of playing and it ALREADY drifts to the right. Thats just my luck. It's not a calibration problem either. It's like the spring or whatever is in there isn't strong enough to push the stick to the center. Man, that sucks. Does the saitek have this...
Well, picked up a Logitech extreme 3d pro today. I like it so far. BUT, first signs of the drifting problem and I'm exchanging it for a saitek cyborg evo. Thanks for the help.
Thanks for all the replys. I have one more question. How usefull is the hat switch? I'm looking at the saitek cyborg evo but it doesn't have a hat switch. Do you use it much?
Does anyone know how to do this? I need to remove them because the program I am using defaults to the WDM and not the drivers I have installed. Thanks.
