Interestingly enough, I had another switch that arrived (D-link 8 port gigabit switch), and that switch worked in the garage. I guess the other switches were too wimpy to handle my noisy cat5 runs? Well it works at full speed.

No, I my cables are straight cables. You can connect two computers with just a patch cable and they'll auto detect that its not a crossover cable.

I'm not pleased about the branding. The Define is probably the best looking case on the market. I do like that they used the USB 3 internal headers, though. The reviewers knocked them for it, but it has to happen eventually. Using an external plug is so hack-ish.

IIRC they are working on a USB front panel kit for the FT02. Should be released sometime.

Glad to see case manufactures moving in this direction. I can't stand all the flashy, cheap, exteriors that are all too common. I'd rather have a more refined, understated design.

I really hope they come out with an upgradeable front panel kit. This case is awesome and only needs USB 3.0.

I really like the design of the Define R2/R3. I think it is just about the perfect computer case, I could only ask for USB3.0. Simple, clean, minimalist look. No ugly logos, no crazy lights, no ugly side window. This is the Apple case of PCs. I think its a shame they put a big logo on Fractal's...
