Not sure what are you expecting, performance wise, but at that resolution, all the reviews i read point the Vega 64 at the same level or passing the 1080, but not the 1080Ti.

Funny you mentioned that, it reminded me of past conversations with a friend, whom he used to swear that the image quality of Matrox was absolute and only ATI, on those days, was able to match them. Personally, I just replaced a Quadro for a Radeon Pro at work and cant tell the difference...

I could be wrong, but I think I read a long time ago, that the main reason they created itanium was to eventually release on desktops and since it wasn't a x86 cpu, they wouldn't have to provide a license to AMD, Cyrix, etc.

Which makes me wonder, why they didnt buy Imaginations PowerVR division, since they are or were for sale recently, because as far as i keep reading, amd and nv holds pretty much every IP gpu related.

We have dells d6000 docks at work and they are pretty much flawless with 2 monitors, both windows and macs. Luckily, we are not running high sierra yet, so we are good.
