I need triple DisplayPort to drive 3x4K monitors, but the real reason I suppose is "why not"? The 5930 is tempting but some of my tools are still largely single core.
Thanks for the reply.
Thank you. I am not gaming on the system, I use it for work (trading).
I prefer noise reduction as a priority but I do overclock so long as it is 100% stable, so which cooler based on that?
Can someone check my build for any problems?
- Ncase M1 v4
- ASRock Z170 Gaming ITX/ac
- i7-6700k
- 32gb (2x16gb) G.Skill TridentZ
- Samsung 950 Pro M.2
- Radeon R9 Nano
- Silverstone SX500-LG
Also I could use some input on cooling please, which cooler do you recommend?

Last, input on extra...
Could you guys please explain the whole M2 vs U2 issue? My plan was to use Asus ROG Maximus mini-itx z170 and a Samsung 950 Pro NVMe. It's not clear to me if this is a problem or possible with this board?
What do you guys think about the new Seasonic Snow Silent line? The small one is 750W ATX, measures 170mm x 150mm x 86mm. It has a 120mm FDB fan.

I plan to use the R9 Nano in my build. Comments on combining it with this PSU? 750W is...
Have you found a way to change the ncase M1 to USB type C connector in the front?
I'm also looking to build a M1 mini-itx Skylake based system, with M2 and a GPU with (3) DisplayPort that can handle triple 4K monitor setup.
That was the idea, I don't need performance just multi-display connectivity (dual 4K). But, further research I found says Intel did not add the 1.3 spec to Skylake and won't until next year.
Does anyone know of a planned Skylake mainboard that supports DisplayPort 1.3 MST on-board?
My understanding is DP 1.3 MST allows (2) 3840x2160 streams with a single connection "daisy chain".
I scanned the last dozen pages but couldn't find anyone posting optimized settings for their 40" JU6700 for use as a PC monitor. I've found white's are a bit pink out of the box, and text slightly blurry on white backgrounds. I am using 150% scaling and 60hz with Windows 10. If someone could...
Can a few of you that own the Samsung 40 or 48 share the following please:
a) 40" or 48"
b) Your distance from screen
c) Desktop DPI scaling, 100%, 125%, 150% etc
Thank you.
Earlier in the thread the Mediabridge 15' HDMI 2.0 cable was confirmed to work, but only on the 40" JU6700 and not the 48". I hope others can confirm 15' cables that work and which model they tested it on.
Can someone post a couple photos of the rear of their JU6700 40"? Particularly showing how the power and input connector cables are situated?
I am leaning towards a wall mount, and found this one...
Does anyone have a recommendation for a very good desk mount to hold the 40"? I am buying two, so need to be able to adjust the angles appropriately (the mounts will not be centered, but shifted towards the left and right side of the desk, mounted on the rear of the desk).
My understanding is...
I need two 15' cables for my setup (buying two JU6700's), can anyone confirm if this cable will 100% work?

It says rated HDMI 2.0 4k but I would feel better if...
Can someone tell me if I buy two 970's to power two JU6700 40's for normal desktop use, but want to only play games on a single 40" (not both), will the 970's SLI for added performance to that monitor only?
I am looking to buy two of these Samsung JU6700 40" and set them side-by-side for a trading setup, to replace three 2560x1600 30" I currently have (which previously replaced six 1920x1080 24's).
One issue is lack of DisplayPort on this monitor. I am having trouble finding any GPU with dual...
Is anyone running two of these side-by-side and can share a picture and post comments? I'm looking to replace a (3) 30" 2560x1600 setup.
I've been reading the thread and see a lot of talk about VESA mounts being irregular screws (M4), I was wondering if anyone has a specific recommendation...
Can anyone comment on putting three of these side-by-side? I need the measurements in total width after taking into consideration a normal sitting distance from the center monitor, and tilting the outside monitors towards the center so that from that normal distance you could see everything...
Hey guys, if anyone is running three of these side-by-side could you please post a photo and give measurements on the total width as well as the depth on the side monitors front-to-back?
Please comment on the viewing angle and the distance you need to sit from the center monitor in order to...
Hi guys. I just built a (4) 6174 system with H8QGi-F, (4) Noctua NH-U9DO A3's, and 64GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1600 unbuffered non-ecc CL8 [16 pieces of 4gb sticks, sold in 2x4gb kits], and (2) 256GB Crucial M4 [raid 0]
It seems the highest overclock I can get with 0 HT retries is 224...
Can you recommend a tester that will work with my config - redundant power (HRP)? I guess its more of a test of the module itself, can test both PSU's installed as well as each individually by using the 24p header?
And you've seen this type of PSU problem with the symptoms I've described? Running full-load for days on end without a problem, and then being perfectly idle for hours on end when all the sudden a random reboot? I was not even logged in to the console, no tasks were running.
I have tested everything under load best I can using a combination of sysbench concurrent passes. Perhaps you can clarify an exact test procedure?
This is also a 1+1 HRP psu, so I think it reduces the chances that PSU is to fault. That also reminds me, I checked the logs during POST to...
