ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

Voltage drops too much when idling and/or switching from work to idle or vice versa, same thing here with 2500K when using offset. Default clock@1,02V fixed running just fine.

ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

Ok, did that but it didn't change anything, and how could it, as said, USB never gives any sign of life, so FAT16/FAT32 shouldn't make any difference. Few blinks at FLBK_LED and then stays lit. Should be ok? I'm thinking that I'll just wait for next release and let this one be;)

ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

Yes, I tried already but seems that this won't work either. Downloaded 1205, renamed file to "Z77VB.CAP" and placed it to 256MB USB-stick, apart from that file empty and formatted as FAT (old stick I use only for BIOS updates). Put that to white (USB2) port at back panel after shutdown, and...

ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

Well, to be honest I'm a bit cautious since I've never used it before. Once bricked P8P67 (although some blame can be pointed to poor instructions) and that wasn't so nice;) Even more so if current bios may be flaky.

ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

EZ Flash->"Image outdated"->No-go Bupdater-"BIOS file is older than current BIOS"->No-go Tried both 1205 and 1015. Maybe Flashback could do the job but I'm too lazy to open the case right now. Is this standard practice nowadays to block older bios versions completely? edit: if I remember...

ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

I know it was, but the question is if there's any reason to downgrade to 1205 or just keep using 1406 and wait for next release? Pretty crappy customer service if I'm asked.

http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1038975767&postcount=6216 This wasn't beta, or at least there wasn't any note about it anywhere. It was present only around 24hrs, both webpage and ftp.

ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

Dunno why anyone does, I tried once (last year right after P67 boards came out), and that was also the last time. Installation was straight from hell (errors etc.), and uninstall was pretty much like you had, lots of manual cleaning and still crap lying around. Ended up running System Restore...

    Z77 Motherboard Roundup

That's a quick peek. Roundup is something that has several (and all major ones of course) brands and several models.

ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

Hello again, just upgraded from that pesky P8P67 rev B2, after it got busted, to P8Z77-V. Things are working fine, but couple of questions. First, what (or why to be more precise) the heck is "Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller" with two ATA Channels in W7 Device Manager? As far as I can...

Help! Is my p8p67 pro busted?

Above could be true IF second CPU at same board using brand new PSU (that Corsair CX430v2) wouldn't have been fried at first startup attempt ;) edit: and of course everyone in this thread, or at least me, would be very interested to hear what was the problem. But I guess that will never happen.

Help! Is my p8p67 pro busted?

Since it seems that CPU's get fried I would believe that the problem is somewhere in VRM components feeding CPU. Maybe Asus rep's will find this thread, and give us some kind of answer. Maybe.

Help! Is my p8p67 pro busted?

Board is definitively RMA-case, propably CPU also. I just came back from local computer retailer where we tested both CPUs with yet another board. Both are dead, no beeps no nothing. Next step is to send whole lot (Asus and those two CPU's) to original retailer for RMA. And I'm going to try...

Help! Is my p8p67 pro busted?

Everything is cross-tested, thats propably why I'm currently without working desktop system, just laptop. And, of course, both PSU's were measured with multimeter, so at least voltages are exactly what they should be. This obviously doesn't necessarily tell the whole story, but still. edit...

Help! Is my p8p67 pro busted?

Same thing just happened here to my P8P67 :p Last wednesday, during simple web browsing, just shut off and no signs of life at all after that. And top af all, seems that mobo also took my 2500k to it's grave. It won't start even when put into new board (Intel DH67CL). And strongly looks like it...
