To all owners, is there a way to turn that off for good ? I have a very light sleep and the computer is in my bedroom.Even with a turned off PC that dumb red light luminates

i dont know the reason for it , but whenever i enter new ereas in BL2 i get a a moment stuttering . especially if its audio heavy. Im using my g510 as audio port. The drivers for the GPU card are the latest.
Asking is better than being sorry is my motto.
How do the current Nvidia Drivers perform ? any uglyness like the famous 2 second pink artifact kernel crashes ?? im bout to buy in the next 24 hours so if theres any shiz to it , please lemme know.
Thanks in forward

im torn appart ...
but first things first ...i know about bios(settings) as much as i know about the chemistry in rocket fuel...my first built mobo was a p5b asus mobo that never ever received a bios update.
i was too scared to mess with it ...so i didnt .
now its realy bout time to upgrade...
whats the difference , i looked up the specs read some reviews ..and couldnt find any plausible reason to pay more $$ for an ax850. Enlighten me please
doesnt look like the main VGA PCIE16 position of todays mobos can take advantage of the clearance (with removed HD cages). Seems the unremovable part blocks that till pci slot number 3. Correct me if im wrong.
so from what i read in the manual, for successfull boot its required to have your MEM sitting at memory slot 1 ...wich means im fucked with a bigger cooler that blocks it , like the Noctua u12p se. Im a noob in oc stuff ...sandybridge caught my interest but now ...i dunno
everythings becomes...
