I am upgrading my P8z68 to the z87 deluxe quad. I have CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B. Will I have any problem going to this board with a 4770K? I am using them in XMP for 2 years now with no issues. Was...

So I tried many things but in the end I purchased a new set of RAM, a 16 gb kit (corsair vengeance 1.5 v), so it was all matched as per the advice given and it has been smooth sailing from there. I have the voltage bumped up, I match the SPD XMP profile and not one single hiccup. Even sleep...

CPU is at a chilly 39C. All components are new, about 8 months at this point. PSU was replaced by corsair earler. I have run Memtest already no issues. How would I check the CPU or PSU with having alternative parts to try? I will look at the GP drivers now. I feel like it is a...

I did not ignore your advice just missed. I will try. And it is 90 degrees. The nuts on the brackets slide so I obviously got it to do something it was not intended to do. This may be a short issue. Would that resolve after I reseat the bracket? thoughts? Who think I should take...

I have a HAF X with a cut out for the back plate. So I could see . The left side is slightly obscured but not by much. I puled the power cable out of the PSU-ie. no current. The one thing I can think of is I see now that the back plate should be rotated 90 degree as there is a cut out for...

I have uninstalled Intel RST as there were known issues there. SSD has the latest drivers. I was thinking it had to do with the BLCK being at 100.33. I set it to manual and forced it to be 100.00, maybe that will help. But I know other have had this issue with board and BIOS problems...

ok, so which designer at ASUS decided to put the CMOS battery right under the GPU??????????? I had to pull out my graphics card just to be thorough when reseting the CMOS. Any way I did notice that the speed of the chip prior to reset was 3.43 and not 3.40, so the BCLK mus have been over 100...

Just checked and with AI overclock tuner set to auto BCLK does not appear. When temporarily switched to manual it was at 100.3. So in auto mode I dont know what its doing but it obviously went there during the autotune. So is there a problem with auto tune on the ASUS board? Also, Just...

Interesting! from my memory I think that is exactly what the BCLK is, 100.3. did not think it would do that...this is what ASUS autotune set it too when I OC'ed. How come the board's own autotune (fast) set the BCLK to a level that is unstable?

Its not really a double post, the screens never fire up. I had the double POST on the p67 and Z68 board already. I disabled the option rom in the BIOS for the Marvell and JMicron chips and that solved the double boot on the z68. There is nothing booting from those ports, no RAID, etc... this...

make sure your in the correct DIMMs. Like I was saying on 1366 sockets it will not post if you are using 3 of 6 DIMMs in triple channel and use the wrong set. It is probably the same here. Move the RAM into the other set of DIMMs.
