Why did they switch from the sails to the other design? The sails are awesome! I am still rocking a regular K70 and it is the best keyboard I have ever used. My wife is even used to the clacking of the keys...
In my opinion, Gigabyte has never been in the upper tier of devices. Yes, they are big, but not MSI/EVGA/Asus tier. Still, you can't go wrong with one of the Gigabyte devices. How old is the review of the mobo?
Read my post. I said rotating Disney movies. I have kids. They like to watch Disney movies. Hercules, Pocahontas, Mulan, Hunchback, and a few others are on there but have been on there for a few years now. Sure, some of that is on Disney, but then Netflix should not have said the big movies...
I had to drop Netflix because of this. And their lack of rotating movies, especially kids ones, like they stated they would have. The deal with Disney was a few years ago and the same big name kids movies are on there, there was no rotation with current or older flicks as they explained would...
Voltage maxes at 1.175. IIRC, that is the top that a 780ti can reach. Yes, boost is disabled.
Yes, I have an EK waterblock. Not really sure about air, only tested it quickly when I first got it, then I had it apart and under water. But water really is the way to go.
Sorry, did not see this post until just now. Yes, CSQ version. Not sure about the bridge block, I only have one card at the moment. Can't really justify dropping another $600-700 on another 780ti when one plays all my games at best settings, lol.
Also, might want to rethink that motherboard, unless you don't plan to use the block in your loop. Asus uses aluminum in their blocks, so it cannot be used in a normal watercooling loop. People say you could run anti-freeze in with the water or whatever, but no, that degrades the cooling ability...
I just got my MSI 780ti Gaming from a member on here, and with skyn3t BIOS I can hit @1296/7800 pretty easily. Haven't even tried to go for higher yet. It is watercooled.
Just called FCPU, the guy who answered is actually the one I was dealing with over email. He said he had just received word back from XSPC. According to the email (I have not seen the email), XSPC says the 780ti reference layout changed and so they made an update to the acetal block, which...
Sorry nothing yet. I emailed the person last week asking if I could just send it back for a refund and I was told I would receive word by Monday, but have not received anything. Will be calling in the morning and either getting this resolved or opening a Paypal Dispute with FCPU. I have had a...
More than not doing OC tests. Plus I don't look at reviews and think "Wow, that card got to 1300mhz, that must mean every card can." Yea, I don't think so. Over clocking is never the same, but still helps to show what the limitations of cards could be. Plus I look at multiple reviews, and...
Having a good chip or a bad chip is chance and something you cannot controller, so should have no factor in deciding whether to do a competent review or not.

This is a link to my Ebay account, showing what I have for sale. Instead of making a post for each part listed and making the mods angry, this seemed like the better idea. Mods, if this is still wrong, just let me know and I will change it to however you...
Yes, because testing cards at their stock (even if OC'ed) speeds show the differences... They should have OC'ed them and then see who came out on top. My guess, MSI gets a really nice OC because of the lower heat and power consumption vs. the other two. But hey, doing an OC test would make sense...
Would the AX1200i even be enough watts for his setup? I was going to suggest it too but 4 cards is a lot of power... I have a Corsair RM1000, and while it is not as good as the AX series, Corsair still makes very nice PSU's.

Works alright for a cheap tester, they have some around the $20 range that are probably better. The cheap one I got, I have used it twice, and both times...
When I had my HAF 932 Advanced, I put the radiator at the top and did push/pull as exhaust. So that would be going outside the case. The gains, if any, of doing it as an intake are negligible. Plus, with those big fans in the front and side, you would only have the rear fan as exhaust, so some...
I read the entire thing, and it was a very interesting read. Most of it made sense, but without direct contact with the companies and their confirmations, it is all still just speculation. I started to wait for the 8xx series and then decided it wasn't worth it, can't even get a definitive...
Are you able to overclock within BIOS? Do you see the Turbo Ratio option at all? I've heard this is a known issue with the "ME chip" being corrupted. I really have no more information than that.
Just an update... FCPU contacted me back. "Dan, I did my homework on this and it appears this is indeed a reference design. I will see what XSPC has to say about this." Not sure if he meant it is a reference waterblock or it is a reference video card. I asked if I somehow got a pre-revision...
Not a myth. "There is an electrical/electronic process called electromigration where the ions in a conductor drift over time and cause circult paths (both in silicon and to a lesser extent in copper tracking) to degrade and this may cause signal paths to slow down. The effect is sped up by heat...
The real world difference is your card will degrade faster. With electriconics, the more voltage the more heat you create. Heat causes parts to degrade faster, and can even cause failures. Think of cards that are used by miners, they run those cards all day at high over clocks and high heat...
Haha well I was originally set on the XSPC block but only until I figured out they're liars. EK seems to be one of the only full-cover block makers that actually account for minor changes... Plus I like the look of the acetal blocks.
Yea I didn't know that about FCPU, I just looked at their policies and figured that's what they were. I changed my original post and stance about them, I spoke too soon after I was angry. I'll admit I made a mistake.
And I meant I have my debit card for purchases in store, anything online I...
Sorry, I first called saying it wouldn't fit, then had to email them about it. I did not ask them about a refund yet, I am trying to get one without having to lose out on the restocking fee or the shipping charges.
And yes, I had a CC when I was younger and did not use it wisely, plus with my...
I contacted them and had to email them with pictures, they said they would investigate and get in contact with XSPC. Still have not received an email back.
And having a credit card just creates the opportunity to abuse it, something I don't want. I use Paypal linked to my bank account, and I...
Sidewinder is a good company, as is Jab-Tech. Always took care of any issues I had and everything was always shipped quickly. Sidewinder is about 3 hours away from me too, which is pretty cool.
