We are looking into some multiport midspan power injectors. Just curious what others are using out there, experiences with them, etc. I think we'd mostly be looking at 6-12 port models.
Thanks
I only have two:
X-Com, not even a sequal just a remake, something like genesis was supposed to be...oh please oh please
PS: Torment, the best RPG I've ever played, the character depth and interactions were beyond anything I'd seen at the time
Couple of Antony and the Johnsons songs do it for me, I Hope There is Someone and Fistful of Love.
Elenor Rigby by the Beatles too
Mostly emotional songs do it to me.
To as objective as possible I would ask him how he thinks rounding the edges on the shelf his amp is sitting on will help smooth out the sound it produces. At the same time ask him how the "Walker Audio Valid Points Tuning Kit" actually works as well. I'd love to know the science of this.
You think that's bad? I watched some of his videos of youtube where he claims that if you can't hear the difference some magnet makes by waving it over your cd's "you're deaf". Or that maple butcher block is by far the best shelving for components and that rounding the edges of said butcher...
This is a really weird issue, I can't figure out what is causing it. At the site we have a 3560g PoE switch with our DC, a Nortel BCM and a bunch of phones and workstations plugged in. The phones run on a separate VLAN and I really don't know if they are even relevant. The switch routes between...
Wow i never knew trespasser had such a good physics engine. I always wanted to play the game but after I read reviews I kinda decided against wasting my money.
I remember it being one of the first games where you could actually read signs and stuff, I thought it was so cool.
Here's a quick shot of my overall setup:

i have the a900s and they block out ALL sound pretty well. Especially if you have anything on. I bought them when i had roommates and they always got mad cause they would be talking to me forever before i noticed them waving at me.
I've never had the ear sweat problem, I've worn them for...
The pix is running RIPv2 to get it's routing table. The routes all appear in there as they should. There are two routers, directly connected to the inside, one is mine and one is my ISPs(for our MPLS infrastructure).
I did my inside configuration like they recommended, however I'm now thinking...
Okay so we are doing some infrastructure changes and this means that my pix is now getting packets that it needs to route back out it's inside interface. From what I have found on Cisco's site this shouldn't be that hard, I guess I didn't read the fine print. Here's what is happening:
Computer...
thanks(i started that other thread too...man maybe i should use the search function...), before I read that I setup a SPAN port on my 4506 to start monitoring the traffic that way. however i'll keep this in mind in the future.
here's the error:

Searching the net for 0.1.0.4 and the only thing I can find is some reference to an xbox using this address or something. Is there anyway I can track this...
Hey Guys
FTP seems to work fine from inside out to almost everywhere, there's just this one server that won't work at all. From outside the pix it works fine if you turn passive mode off, from inside the pix here's what happens:
Connected to 1.2.3.4.
220 Microsoft FTP Service

I took the "network 10.0.0.0" line out since it was causing some routing issues since each site advertised itself as the route for 10.0.0.0/8.
I did the no auto-summary and it works perfectly now, thanks again everyone.

Well odd to me at least. We have a WAN network with a dozen 3550's all doing the routing for their local networks, we are running RIP v2 on this network and it's working fine using a 172.16.x.x address space. We are re-iping our sites however and moving to a 10.10.x.x address scheme. When I...
I just scored mine today too, I haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet since I am at work, I actually took time off work to drive 45 minutes to the next city to get one...ahh i feel crazy.
We have the same setup, sort of, the server building isn't as far away(only 100 feet) but we ran 4 fiber pairs and 4 ethernet pairs. I always prefer to run more than you need, in fact 4/4 wasn't my suggestion, i wanted 8/8 or 4/8 but i got overruled. How big is your setup? What approximately...
The command was posted by Dr.Evil.
interface ethernet0 <speed>
I don't run pix software 6.3 so i can't remember exactly what the commands are.
You can probably get rid of the 1600 then, I can't think of any reason to keep it.
AT&T won't set their device to 100 full? I would put that request in. I"m not sure why but whenever i have autoneg problems it's cisco -> cisco, this is why i've gotten into the habit of setting all my speeds and duplexes.
If the 1600 series is only capable of 10 Full then set it to that and...
Yeah Dr.Evil that's pix's command to save the config.
All you need to do is set both devices to 100mb Full and you should be fine. Is the cisco 3800 yours or the ISP's?
It's always a good idea to set your speed and duplexing manually, don't try to let the autoneg do it for it more often then...
alright maybe it's me but i've read over your description about 5 times and i can't made any sense of it.
You're trying to access a website, no like YOUR website or any internal website right? So lets say you are trying to access xyz.com. Why do you need a route in your router for that? Do you...
In PixLand you can define multiple subnets on either side of the vpn. Something like this:
access-list acl-nat0 extended permit ip 1.1.1.0 255.255.255.0 2.2.2.0 255.255.255.0
access-list acl-nat0 extended permit ip 3.3.3.0 255.255.255.0 2.2.2.0 255.255.255.0
access-list cryptomap-1...
well i guess i'm too late. I've had this happen before, and it took me a while to figure out but yeah, your firewall needed the route back to the subnets. In a small network you could always do static routes instead of rip...but in the end whatever works.
nicely done! I know all too well how quickly stuff can get out of hand, especially when you have an impatient manager and cables that are too fkn long.
Alright well it's been a rough monday morning already. I'm getting a ton of these:
Dec 18 08:35:09 172.16.175.253 :Dec 18 08:20:20 CST: %PIX-session-1-106021: Deny UDP reverse path check from 169.254.187.62 to 169.254.255.255 on interface inside
The IP is always changing, looks like there...
Hey we have two sets of Pix515E's, each set has one with an UR license and one with a FO license. However only the ones in production have the 3des/AES encryption license. We are having some hardware issues with the ones in production so the plan is to swap them with the ones in storage.
If i...
