Acutally these are two pictures stitched together in photoshop. Because i didnt got the whole box in one picture. I uploaded it raw and did not process it because i thought you wanted to do that.
Yes photos are shot with Adobe RGB. Is that bad? I mean should you shoot with Adobe RGB, when you...
I'll try for a better shot. The only problem is the box is standing in our oil storage room and its very tight in there.
But im sure i can get it better. Uploading as fast as possible,
Uploaded the picture here. I hope its sharp enough but at the moment i dont have autofocus lens.

I would say it is the same problem i had with my unit. The best you can do is leave the tube on and after a few hours or longer it will pop again and go back to focus. Maybe it will go out of focus again.
Then you have to wait again. And then one time it will get back in focus and stays at it.
Good to nearly perfect black level and color accuracy. Two things a LCD is not able to achieve completley.
I dont want to flame about LCD's but i could not get happy with one because you have to choose color accuracy or response time.
OLED is the next thing for us. Just wait.....
It does make no sound when going out of focus but if i would wait long enough sometimes it makes a "pop" sound an goes back to focus.
Now that you mentoin it i remember this potential help with leaving it on.
Sadly mine starts to get complete out of focus (unsharp) from one moment to the other. Fixes when i turn it off and on again. But now it happens so often a day. Not a good sign.
Im sure this had been described before here. Was it the Flyback?
They have an direct DVI-BNC cable but this is only 1 foot long.
Back then you could choose the length of this. Seems this is the only option now.

DVI to 5 Female BNC Breakout Adapter, 1 foot
You can also choose how long you want...
After i realized i searched for it and i also found that video with this guy explaining what this magnet is doing. ^^
When turning this clip with the magnet away from the screen it does not affect it.
But it is still an unpleasent feeling when a magnet is so close to your CRT.
All Cases of the FW900 rebrands are exactly the same as the original from Sony exept color and logos.
It looks like an 16:10 tube of similar size as the FW900. But hard to tell with this angle.
I think you will not be happy because of the airbubbles you will get from the dust when you reattach an anti-glare film.
To reattach an anti-glare film perfectly you would need an dust free environment and special glue like the one used with the original film. Or am i wrong?
Oh looks like the Sun version have DB13W3 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DB13W3) instead of BNC.
Description of Sun here:

Thanks. I did know that you cant get rid of that completley. I formulated that incorrectly. Just wanted to know something i can do to reduce it a bit.
But i think im just crazy because i thought i got stronger the last few days. But i think that is just in my mind. ^^
Like these Pictures :)
Btw: What was the DRIVE_MAX value for? Its being discussed this thread ages ago but i forgot about that.
And another question. Which things to do, to get rid of ghosting/phosphor lag. I know it could be the cable. But since i have the DVI-BNC from blue jeans i think that...
