    The end of BA8/BA12

So what happens to the 6903 and 6904 units now? Do we start getting them on 16+ core rigs again?:D Maybe less PPD drop afterall?

What did I do? Core 78?

I guarantee that you forgot the -smp flag when you got done tinkering with your rig the first time. Check the logfile.

    new projects

Hmmm. k factors of 6905 and 6906 similar to 6903 and 6904.. so is the atom counts. That may translate into a plus for you guys if they are available to anything more than 12 thread rigs. Noticed the 8102 not listed on the project summary page just yet: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummary.html

What is the PPD potential OCNG 4P 6174?

With the NEW wu's announced today, it will be interesting to see what PPD we'll be getting from these rigs now..;) http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=22126 The k-factor is the same for the 8102 as the infamous 8101..PPD should be close, the other two should be interesting to see...

    Big Beta Kaput?

They're not completely gone. I did get a 6904 on my 970 yesterday. Apparently they're only being released to 12 "core" machines at this time. Had a 8101 drop this am, so i'll find out what my 4P picked up in a few hours after I get out of work.

Supermicro H8QGi/6 and H8QGL Next Generation OC BIOS

That did it! Thanks Core32!! Just to contribute to more to the thread, 4 6128's on an H8QGI+-F @ 250 for 2.5 GHz. Nice and cool with the 212's. No retries in more than an hour on an 8101 (first wu). TPF dropped from 22:32 to 17:52:cool: Awesome guide!! Stickie this thing already..

Supermicro H8QGi/6 and H8QGL Next Generation OC BIOS

I'm trying to check the CPU frequencies. I typed in: dmesg | grep -o Detected.* but I get back: dmesg: invalid option -- "o" First of all, what is that dividing line? Second, is it a zero or a small case letter o? Thanks in advance guys.

Ubuntu Desktop Installation Guide for F@H

There's a missing ~ in one command line, and there's a couple of "1"'s should be "l"'s in some of the other lines. F@H GPU Sleeping

Get rid of your current clients and try this: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=219556 Your clients are getting mixed up with the proper cards, and this is the easiest way to set up folding for GPU's (and SMP if you're so inclined).:)
