yet AMD is the king of viral marketing
The AMD Viral Playbook according to ir0x0r
According to ir0x0r, the perfect candidate for a shill was a young college student. Someone who already was a big AMD fan and someone who was already active at the tech forums. Someone who was...
Hey xIronCrossx, he just wants Nvidia to realize its all over, and issue one simple statement:
ATI NUMBER #1
Yeah sure 15/02/2012 will come and Nvidia will as usual report couple hundred million $ of income, but what good is that.
NVIDIA NEEDS TO ADMIT DEFEAT AGAINST RADEONS
Nvidia's games are going to make Wall Street look look like Ghandi.
That does not make sense in the context of TWIMTBP?
I'm done here, if you are THAT slow.
Hey it took barely 11 pages of convincing him, before he realized that Charlie's
"nvidia games make wall street look like Ghandi"
comment has nothing to do with his supposed viral marketing
MONDAY!
Folks from AMD PR can relax till monday, when new Kepler/GCN article from Charlie D. gets published.
Then it will be a long looong hardworking week trying to control the damage
We are talking their whole lineup, bread and butter for the next year at least.
They wouldn't have done it like retards, or posting from the same IP.
And how would you discern troll from Nvidia-shill?
All it takes is one clever screenshot or fps chart, and the whole thing goes viral, yet this...
Glad we sorted that out.
So I take Charlie from SA was bamboozled was just a little bonus you added... to keep things colorful
After all his Nvidia wins handily article is what set you on the rampage, right :D
no Digital Viper-X-, my position is I don't know a word of Mandarin,
so I don't even know what the argument is about
stick to the topic please... some user(s) god banned, Charlie was bamboozled, Nvidia shills etc
Kyle you can't run the news story by linking to something which almost has something to do with the news itself...
and im doing it pro bono... sad I know
no, I gather we still dont know A SINGLE Kepler rumor that got debunked
the originator of all of those rumors is the same person you originaly linked to - CH forum user Napoleon
You are trying to feel his anus, but doing it all wrong.
He's talking about TWIMTBP ;)
I wont go into NV viral marketers theory, but xoleras buddy...
you can't even point to a single Kepler rumor that was debunked
much less connect it with either Charlie, Semi or "Nvidia wins handily" article right?
xoleras no need to crap all over your own thread buddy, I know the data
But I have no doubts that in benchmark controlled environment,
if you focus to tank 1.5GB you will tank it.
Else you should find another job
I dont think they really lied
Just used those settings which show 7970 in the best light.
Like... as much AA to tank 1.5GB VRAM buffer, or as little to hide poor 7970 MSAA performance.
ROFL they even used PhysX in Batman AC , but noted that diligently in their benchmarking guide.
so... I take...
Whoever thinks AMD does not focus on synthetic benchmarks optimizations lives in a lala land.
Matter of fact I'll go step further and say AMD is the one that started FPS battle,
focusing entirely on that aspect - FPS/$.
These days they screw with basic rendering capabilities just to get 0.4%...
xoleras fighting valiantly on several forums at the same time
looks like his breaking news topic on OC.net is about to be closed, because of the misleading title
keep us in the loop buddy :D
Instead of bringing technology to the people, AMD is overcharging it.
Producing 350mm2 chip, beating previous gen king by 30% on a brand new nod,
calling THAT a halo card and slapping $549 tag.
Punishment soon to follow
Not trying to push anyone's buttons,
but after GK104/110/112 are launched 7970 will be going to it's rightful place.
And that's 6970 successor and $349 price mark.
Also... $299 for GK 104 is nothing extraordinary.
I got my custom GTX 460 for less then $250, and it was faster then last gen...
Yes this is my worry also.
GK 104 looks too powerful for mid part, and not enough punch for true Nvidia high end.
So although I don't plan to buy high-end,
lack of BigK would mean lower performance/$ across the GPU lineup.
And I'm not even considering SLI till they come up with something...
I am not spining it, you are spining it buddy - read the OP.
You are clutching for a straw that Charlie has all of a sudden decided to troll his news column.
Also u sound a little annoyed that not everyone is buying your loonie theory ;)
care about what?
about better, faster, more advanced...
Nvidia employee is not good enough, most famous Nvidia hater is not good enough.
If Kyle came here and repeat all that... you'd ask him for a birth certificate
