I just built a sandy bridge system with an intel core i7 2600k which can hit 4.7GHz easy but needs a little more voltage to stay at 4.8GHz. Unfortunately the cooler I have will overheat it a bit at load so this would really help me keep it locked at 4.8. ASUS is going to RMA my board soon too so...
I have the WS Revolution and man is this the best board I've ever owned. Their BIOS is sweet, they update it almost Monthly and it works like a charm. It also offers a ton of overclocking/tweaking options and explains what each one does with a brief summary. ASUS FTW!!!
MSI's OC Genie doesn't work with none standard Memory kits, it's actually a reduction in performance. I tried it on my 875K with G. Skill 2200MHz RAM and it was sad =\ Maybe someday they will get it right but until then, manual trial and error is still the best route. Whatchu guys think? :confused:
