Well its a drop ceiling in the basement so I dont have to, plus the cable just comes right down into my rack.

Well yes and no. It worked on the new cable I made today, but not on the one in the ceiling. I think that one has a break in it though and I am going to replace it with the much stronger cable that I got. But yes, it works now!

Same pack of ends for all the other cables. Left the wires twisted as much as possible... I might try making an end tester
