Yes, you will have engagements where you're screen will be a 20 minute fireworks show, hoping you don't get seizures from all that space magic. It's those engagements that bog down X1 framerates to studder/skip.
Currently on X1, I get framerate issues during Destiny 2 gameplay when lots of craziness is happening on the screen. I'm hoping Freesync and 60 hz mitigates that so I can have smooth buttery gameplay.
The game doesn't truly begin until you finish campaign and that was true with D1, but the single player campaign is truly great, I enjoyed the story. I'm a continuing player from D1 and D2 is good at making you feel the struggle (environments are breathtaking) but once you hit requirements to...
Don't get me wrong, its not a bad game, its just end game content stagnates my interest. Slayerage has a long post on reddit regarding the state of D2 and explains it quite well.

If you want to be exact, the 49.95 you mentioned is for the muted version on Antlion's website. 42.95 for the mute-less version. The 34.99+5 shipping in OP is for the mute-less version being advertised on Massdrop. If you opted for the muted version, its 5 bucks more, which is what I did. So...
That's an awesome deal for that Supermicro board if you wanted to build your own NAS. It regularly goes for $180 plus anywhere else, those of you that have a microcenter close to you, I'm jealous.
There is definitely a shortfall of games surrounding the space sim genre and news of Star Citizen is a breath of fresh air. I was a backer since they first announced the crowd funding project and I hope it does well. I understand it won't be as popular as other franchises since this caters to a...
