Chances are that the ESD gun has very low amperage with high voltage. Hurts like hell but not dangerous. But yes, always have one hand behind your back at least. And a second person with a safety stick just in case.

He is using a Logitech G700 and a Razer Nostromo. I am using a similar setup with a Logitech G13.

I've heard these cards have great reliability and great heat management.:) I'd love the upgrade.

Thanks for all the input everyone. Tried a few things and found out it was the sata port I had it connected to. Had to set the Marvell Storage controller to IDE in BIOS. Then I had to remember to take the disk out before reboot or a nice blue screen presented itself. Installing now. Read disk on...

I've already tried that and I'm getting the same effect with the new drive. Could it be another faulty new drive with the same issue? I'm able to rip DVD's just fine.

Hello, I'm having an issue with my disc drive. Whenever I insert a PC DVD game disc, my system has the hardest time recognizing the game disc. DVD movies read fine. I initially thought my drive was on its way out so I replaced it and that seemed to do the trick. Now I'm seeing the same issue...

Okay, so I figured it out. Had to select configure on "AMD HDMI Output" under "Playback Devices" and set to 5.1. Pretty cool, never had to set that up before under Windows 7. Even had a test tone for each speaker.

One possibility I just noticed, there's one song that didn't transfer over saying I am not authorized to copy it. I must have gotten a copy of that song from someone who purchased it through itunes as well. Makes sense. Which would account for how itunes knew my own email. False alarm?

I would recommend the G700. I love this mouse. You can have two buttons set up to either drop or increase resolution or you can use just one button to cycle through different resolutions, max of 5 customizable presets. All buttons are macros customizable. Battery life is a bit weak but the...

I'm trying to figure out if my setup is running in Dual Channel mode. This is what I see in CPU-z. Is there a BIOS setting I'm supposed to change? I'm using the A2/B2 slots as recommended in the manual. Shouldn't I see a "2" in the "Channels #" box? Is there another way to verify this...
