coming back to mining --> get me caught up?

If you have 750ti machines (or any maxwell nvidia), you can mine spreadcoin pretty well. I would recommend holding some for a while. They're going to explode in the near future, in my opinion. The BTC node support and data mining should make profits. Or mine nicehash quark. I still manage...

    Game for LAN recommendations

I had 2 of the UT keys. Loved that game. I guess the question is: Can I play COD or Battlefield??? (I don't know either of these) without being online? LAN, as I suggested?

    Game for LAN recommendations

I haven't researched, as I said. Lazy of me, I admit. I'm just looking for something I can run LAN for maybe 6 players. I can arrange enough decent gaming machines for that, and my server should hopefully be enough to host it. Would I need a stronger GPU in the server? I have some pretty...

The youngest seems to like the COD type war games. She leads the pack, from what I see.

    Game for LAN recommendations

My kids are getting interested in PS3/XBOX games. At 17 and 13 it took them long enough!! Or maybe I wish they had never discovered them... Either way, I thought about playing with them, and decided to try to do an LAN thing at home. I want to use my server to host one that is not online at...

    Mining ROI or Profitability

So I still have my machines running. Mostly 750ti, but the AMD are still feasable on certain algos. I've been mining at"break even" plus a very small margin on DRK and a few P&D coins. Has anyone seen the price of DRK lately? Mine and hold made me a small fortune in the last 2 days. This...

I think it is time to sell

Still managing to make a little. Had a power outage that shut down 4 of the 6 x 750 machines 12 days ago, but the rest kept chugging (need to invest in more UPSs). It still paid for the total electricity and internet bill, so I'll keep chugging along also. XMR is still making a little. When...

    Mining ROI or Profitability

I'm still managing to pay my GPU purchases off. I just bought another round, and with all of mine running it will be paid for soon. I must admit that it would take a long time, if ever, if I was only figuring for new purchases. So your statement stands as far as buying and starting from...

I think it is time to sell

Still making a little... And I bought 6 of these from the OP... It still pays the total electric bill and cost of internet monthly, plus some left. I would have to pay that (minus power usage) anyway. Hell, Doge jumped 40% today for whatever reason, and I unloaded 930k I had doing nothing...

    Mining ROI or Profitability

I have approximately 30 750ti cards. They do 2600 khash each on X11. I am still using version 1.1 because of couple issues with 1.2. I get about1500 hash on XMR for a 750ti 6 card rig (tsiv fork). They only use around 275 watts, if I remember correctly. XMR has been really good for the last...

    Mining ROI or Profitability

My rigs were more than paid off with the Darkcoin explosion. I'm not really considering them, but thinking about new machines. I just added 2 Fury/Blizzard miners, because I got them for $88 delivered. I was more looking at how long ROI would be beginning now, with new hardware. Disclosure...

    Mining ROI or Profitability

I am using total electric bill and internet bill (total, including what I would pay with no machines running). Roughly $425 per month electric plus 125 internet (last month was $370 electric) as a maximum of what I have seen. At present, my miners are making approximately $665 per month. At...

    Mining ROI or Profitability

I have been seeing the comments for months now. My setup seems to be doing well, even with the current slump in price per hash. I made a simple spreadsheet to verify my thoughts, and I am satisfied with the results. Maybe my electricity is cheap enough, or this current "global warming" record...

What are your altcoin picks from here on out?

Yeah, I got burned with Doge at the end. And it is WAY over. DRK and BC are the only ones I will hold. I still trade DRK because it paid off all my hardware, and bought the 10 new 750ti I just cranked up today. I caught the swing right, so don't take that as financial advice!! BC is almost...

what are your top 2/3 pools?

Nothing X11 has been good for the last day or so. I think the market is flooded with hash after the recent optimization rush. I'm just playing with betarigs for the most part. Got a couple machines on LTCX (xhash pool) to see how that goes. Yeah, I've read the scam thread. But I did DRK...

Nvidia GPUs are awesome on x11

And I guess I just lost my cookie... To be honest, I have never checked! These things run cool enough that I never bothered. Always at "stock" speed, and heat is not noticeable when putting your hand next to them. I never even installed anything to check them...

Nvidia GPUs are awesome on x11

Carbon, to elaborate on that and try to answer your questions: I have done no overclocking. I have 2 of the ASROCK BTC boards with 6 each EVGA SC models. These are the single fan model. I use powered USB risers and power through the molex connections on them. No 6 pin connectors, and no...

Nvidia GPUs are awesome on x11

I have 12 of the SC EVGA version. Nothing is required for 2k+ hash with the latest ccminer. And 6 x machine does 12MH no problem. Using USB risers and powering the cards from SATA cables. Machine draws 330 watts total according to my APC UPS

Nvidia GPUs are awesome on x11

6 card 750 machine is doing 8+ Mhash - x11- at 285 watts (measured on battery backup, but tests before put it damn close to my kilawatts). And that includes the frigging network switch. And I bought more with the proceeds of the DRK explosion. This is a GOOD week!
