Haha
no, basically when I do an install, I do all the cable management as well into the arms and around the racks, which people hate paying for the extra time for me to do. But then i make sure it can fully extend the rails and stuff etc, and take photographic proof.
All the other pics...
thanks for the responses everyone,
and thanks stuart, i've had calls open with vmware, and they couldnt get to the bottom of it, even though in event viewer it shows a log for pcoip disconnecting.
I will speak to your guys either tomorrow or on monday
I am upgrading to 5.1 in july...
Hi all,
I work for an educational institue in the UK, we have a large VMware View implementation, using iGel unis as thin clients.
For a while now, we suffer from random disconnects of View Client on the thin clients and vmware view clients which all use PCoIP protocol. We are running View...
Got myself an ASA the other month, i stripped it down to see the insides, thought i'd share the pictures aswell.
It was used at remote sites to connect via vpn into the Head Offices' servers, however they got too big for themselves and decided to set up a website, so the users just go to...

basically the vm's sit on the dell san's, which have a dell 10 gig switch used to give a link between the sans and the dell blades,
pointing out towards the rest of the network, as explained before, thats via 10gig modules to the core switches, at either site, and and also there is 10gb links...
this is just a picture of an old old monitor we removed a few weeks ago, it has a vga cable, but on the back of the monitor, the connections are all split up.
unfortunately no-one will have this bit of cracking kit :(
yeah :D explanations below
Yeah, basically we have implemented VDI across both sites, we are using thinclients/dumb terminals called Igels, and the virtual machines are all windows 7. We have also reduced the majority of our servers down to a few physical boxes, and the reset virtual.
I...
Pictures from my work place, taken across two sites, from the different MDF and IDF to use ciscos terminology enjoy, ill try to help out identifying what everything is if anyone has any questions
serious questions? instead of, please can i have some of your unused offcast hardware, as I can't actualy afford to buy any of your nice pretty nexus stuff (well i can't anyway)
loving all the pics recently specially the green untangle box
I want one, :( Been trying to pick one up cheap off ebay (UK), but all the buy it nows are £250+ and all the auctions go for £65 upwards, but whenever I bid on one, i always lose, even if I go up to £65ish
Just a quick update of my original post here
I have now got my 3rd switch that I was looking for, managed to get another 2950 for £38 inc delievery, which I think is pretty cheap. Also added on the 1760 router, a wic-4esw, which I've yet to fully design what Im going to do with it, and also a...
you could be suffering interferance because of the structure of your house for example, I found that streaming videos to my ps3 via wireless, even when the router was next to the ps3, wasnt too good, most of the time it'd work fine, unless I wanted to fast forward or rewind the video. And...
sounds like a good idea,
The yellow/green one goes to the internet, the purple/blue one are the cables for the SAN
and so on, hehe,
btw does this thread die after 100 pages like some of the forums I've used before?
I passed the security+ in may,
I read the official sybex book, combined with my own interest in security. Basically the hardest questions I found where on the encryptions;
For example, it would list four and ask which was the most mathmatical strongest, then the next question would list the...
ahh thats easy enough, dont get me wrong, im not a complete beginner, etc, its just I've read different ways of doing it when I had a brief look, and because your replacing the firmware on the firebox, with m0n0wall, I wasnt sure if it would accept been deleted and another put on.
its not, its to create logically seperate networks, where you can control what talks to what, via the use of access control lists, however if you have your DNS in a different place, then your pc needs to know where to look for it, I.E the router, and then the router would route the packet to the...
thanks, sorry to say I didnt win the box off ebay anyhow, guess gives me a bit more time to read up on the product, plus im proud of myself for sticking to my budget for once. As I've been spending way to much money on ebay recently
thanks, just to clear up as my original wording wasnt the best, when I say install pfense over the top of m0n0wall, I mean replace it as the software of choice.
I might do, just from the quick glimpses i've seen of it, i like the look of pfense, plus a lot more people (although this is what I've noticed from threads) use pfense, rather than m0n0wall, so if I became stuck anywhere, then I could always get help off someone for it. :)
OP, upload a picture of your network connections, similar to this
or if you use vista/7
the information shown in network connections, my not look like the pictures above though, i.e the connections shown
Could be a virus, try a different virus scanner, such as Avira, also as mentioned before check the application logs in event viewer to see if anything interested is listed. I had this problem on my dads computer, that firefox wouldnt respond nor start up (process didnt show in task manager)...
My tutor did computer forensics at university, (in England btw). He took it up due to having an interest in the course and learning a bit about it, and ended up taking on the course and completing it, he said it was quite interesting, however during work placements, he was working along side the...
I am watching a firebox on ebay that ends later on today, its still on a low bid, and Im thinking of getting it, however the seller writes that:
The box was given to him off a friend, who installed m0n0wall onto the box, and needs configuring as he never used the box, also the screen needs...

9pm - 7am - unlimited
