Does a custom loop need to be serviced every year?

"Nucleoxic," over 8 years on distilled water, 24x7 usage (seriously, this thing is *never* down if the power is up). 3.2 GHz 6-core 3930K Core i7 overclocked full-time to 4 GHz (no SpeedStep BS). No kill coil. No bio treatment or dyes whatsoever. Just add more distilled water as needed. I...

HGST He10 Incompatible with Most Asus Motherboards

If the drive spins up, it's not the Pin-3 issue. Mine would not spin up until I used the Molex-to-SATA adapter. If you're positive that your HD is spinning up, look elsewhere (eg. data cable, controller, OS, possibly even bad HD). - mBrane

    EVGA x58 ftw3 or ASUS P6X58D Premium?

ASUS has really gone downhill in the past few years. Have you ever tried their "tech support?" I'd rather spontaneously self-combust while having a stroke, double aneurysm, and a cardio infarction. These guys suck beyond all spacetime. :o EVGA rocks. You love their GPUs (admit it). They...
