I just decided to bring back my second U2410 to my setup. I was also thinking of making a custom stand for the 20" Dell and put it under the middle monitor almost laying on the table. I ignored the idea though, when I realized how much space it would have taken.
Heres the setup with just one...
Just finished updating my 2012 workstation so here I am. This is how it looked like in 2011:
And here it is in 2012:
And I finally did what I was supposed to do for many months... Cable management:
The one corner is still a bit messy with wires but it's on my to do list...
Just got new speakers to complete my computer audio setup.
Fubar IV as a DAC/Headphone amp
AKG K701 headphones
TC Electronic level pilot as a volume control for the speakers
KRK RP6 G2 monitors
I thought 3 lcd's weren't enough so I brought an old 2001fp from work.
I also tried clearing all the possible cables on my desk.
Under the table is a whole different story.. I don't mind that though, since I hardly ever find myself lurking under there.
3 of my much loved mechanicals. In order from the biggest to smallest form factor: Ducky 1087 MX Browns - Noppoo Choc mini MX blues - TG3 backlit mechanical with MX blacks.
Here's a few new pics of my current favorite keyboards accompanied by Performance MX on Hien Kai.G3 Hard mousepad:
Ducky 1087 茶轴
Noppoo Choc Mini 青轴
Nope, Cherry MX Brown requires even less resistance than Blue and doesn't have a pronounced click. Cherry MX Blue is definitely closer to Buckling spring than MX Brown.
Both the Model M and BlackWidow have 2KRO.
Works both ways. I've been using a keyboard without a numpad for a few months and using a full size keyboard drives me nuts. The numpad just seems to be waste of space and it makes lining the keyboard to the centre that much more difficult.
Not much has changed since the last time I posted my setup, but I thought I'd post anyway. I've only changed the place of my laptop and bought some new keyboards.
The 6gv2 is the best bang for buck only if you're looking for a keyboard with mx blacks. It would be awesome if Steelseries started making the same keyboard with different switches and the same price.
