I'd love to see a new Dune RTS, played the hell out of Dune II back in the day. Although I'm pretty sure EA holds the license, and after seeing what they've done to C&C maybe it's best to let sleeping dogs lie.
Got a $150 Best Buy gc for xmas, but don't really want anything from there. Looking for $140 for it, or to trade for a GTX 550 ti or HD 6790, + compatible psu. No heatware, willing to ship first to the right person (good heatware, forum history).
I'm building a pc for my younger brother for Christmas. He is autistic, and the droning fan noise from his computer really bothers him after a while. He won't wear headphones. I'm thinking an ultra quiet build is the solution. It doesn't have to be fancy, he mainly plays WoW, Eve Online, and...
FF7 needs to be left alone. If they could remake it by updating the graphics and leaving everything else EXACTLY the same, I'd say go for it. But we all know companies can't seem to do that, and Square Enix isn't and never will be what Squaresoft was.
I'm pleased with what I've seen so far. Great graphics, great voice acting. The combat is intense, and quests enjoyable. I'm glad they copied a lot from WoW in terms of gameplay. Maybe its because I played WoW for so long, but whenever I try a new mmo, even an exceptional one, it seems clunky...
That's how it goes down 99% of the time here as well, but that doesn't get put on YouTube. I waited outside Best Buy for the better part of a day to snag that tv deal, and actually had a great time hanging out with fellow shoppers. When it came time to open up, it was quite orderly. I was in and...
Most of it is like they strolled through the warehouse and grabbed a bunch of random junk that hasn't been selling anyway. That 500R for $80 AR is the only thing that really jumped out at me.
I grew up on a farm. On the farm when we saw something old, weak, and useless that was barely clinging to life, we took it out back and shot it. The other studios should follow WB's example and band together to put Blockbuster out of its misery already.
I really like the look of the K90, but the rubber domes for the macro keys is a deal-breaker for me. If I'm going to spend the cash, I want a mechanical keyboard, not a mechanical keyboard*.
Mainly been playing Rift, StarCraft II, Fallout NV and Shogun 2. Recently found my old copy of World in Conflict, thinking of reinstalling it and giving the campaign a play though, love that game.
I've had my Logitech G5 for going on three years now, its still going strong. Love the comfy size of it and the thumb buttons. When it finally dies I'll probably try one of those new Corsair mice, unless I read some bad reviews.
Check out Dark Souls, awesome new action-rpg. Best console game I've played in a while. Also, since you're into hack-n-slash, try Ninety Nine Nights and Too Human. Both have some flaws, but the action is pretty intense and fun and you can find them used for ~$10.
