Got a Series S and playing FPS with a controller for the first time is pretty rough. Hit me up if you got one to get rid of. Heatware in signature. Local is Chicago, thanks!
Wouldn't it work properly with an official 1st party kext? I didn't really expect a random workaround found by on Macrumors to work that well. And it's just especially damning for me when one of the features had been working perfectly on the DP and GM builds.
I guess my bigger question is why...
Pretty impressed by the workaround haha, that's quite a process.
Why isn't it supported when both 2011 and 2012 have the exact same BT chip? Broadcom BCM20702 Single-Chip Bluetooth 4.0 Processor with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) support is present in both. There doesn't seem to be a hardware...
It seems that Bluetooth 4.0 LE is the requirement for for Handoff and Instant Hotspot, upon upgrading to the Oct 16 official release, I got this on my 2011 Macbook Air:
And this is the official list from Apple.com
What is going on? Instant Hotspot was even working on the Yosemite...
Actually feel pretty happy with specs, don't care for bigger/more pixel screens, faster processors, etc. Just want a crazy good battery life in a small phone.
2.2k adjusted for inflation? ;)
But yeah, good automatics are fairly cheap nowadays, wouldn't take the Apple Watch over any of those, just doesn't have the compelling functions.
I feel like the hardware is just not there yet, need better battery technology and processors with better built-in graphics (Broadwell), before something like the SP3 can shine.
It also needs to shave off weight. Yes, it's a lot better than the previous generations, but the thing is pretty...
Glad I checked in here. Could you recommend a m-ATX board with the G3220? You're probably right about not using an i3.
Debating 4 vs 8, will see with final budget. And with the SSD, I thought Sandisk was generally pretty reliable?
Thanks for the comments!
That's true, I've been considering that too for future proofing, especially as the cheap m-ATX board only has two slots.
I guess the other big question is the CPU/Mobo. Is the i3 overkill? Should I downgrade to a GXXXX or a budget AMD?
Just bought an Air on here, I don't think the double RAM is going to make an appreciable difference, though I do think I'll miss the TouchID, it's so very convenient.
Hi [H],
Building something for the family, the old AMD is crapping out, and it's about time. I want to do a m-ATX build, to keep it relatively small. Here's what I'm thinking so far, it's been a while, let me know your thoughts and feedback!
$120 i3-4140 w/HD4400
$50 GIGABYTE...
Growth of the genre should definitely help in the future. It's always interesting when Singsing is serious, he's actually very thoughtful and articulate haha.
^^ Good for you for recognizing something that was negative and removing it from your life.
I've played DOTA 6-7 years ago, then HON, before I sold my gaming setup to focus on school. Definitely experienced similar things as you before, being extremely negative and hostile. Now though when I...
This is very true, many models of Android for 2-3 iPhone models on the market at any given point.
I do think that more pressure on the company is good though, can't let them be complacent on too much brand loyalty.
I've always scanned into JPEG, cleaned up the pages in ScanTailor (http://scantailor.sourceforge.net/?q=en/about), use Adobe to create a PDF, and then OCR with a software of choice.
300dpi is fine for black and white text, some people go lower to 150 even.
