Question: Weve made some significant upgrades to UEFI across the board [pun intended]. Which new feature is most exciting to you?
After watching the video describing the new UEFI implementation for the new Z87 boards, while the SSD secure erase feature is a very nice and needed addition (and...
Nice! I already run a 6990 on one and a 6970 on another system.
I can't live without my Eyefinity - 3x 24" @1920x1200 each.
Having 7970 would be just that more awesome!
Lol, realistically, this is all it takes to enter:
I do not currently have any type of Galaxy card. I read good things about their products.
Anything I said about their products would be pure speculation based on second-hand information provided by other parties.
Would I like to have one...
Hah! It's so cute! (I'm starting to understand how these threads work)
I like what I've heard about Galaxy customer support - fast response to issue noted by purchasers of their products, and they stand by their product.
I like what I've read about Galaxy video cards - smart integration of...
Not a current Galaxy owner, but have moved it towards the top of my "next-must-have" list after seeing how the company supports its customers... not to mention the designs of the new (now not so new) GPUs... everything from the cooling to the colors make Galaxy cards a "must-have."
I have read that the ASUS GeForce GTX 660Ti DirectCU II would provide me with the capabilities to play with overclocking while staying cool (as it uses the same cooler as on their 670) and comes to me in a more affordable price point. This would allow me to purchase additional (if I won this...
I've used a lot of various "wind-filled-sails" components over the many years of building, both mine and for my family's, systems...
So, why do I keep using CORSAIR components?
Reliability - Includes performance of components, customer service and support, as well as market longevity.

Niiiice! I luv the big ones, lol.
Sir Mullet, when you get time, would you consider a wp using this logo?

I have a Matrox TH2Go running 3 x 1680 x 1050 on 1 system and recently upgraded my 5870 1gb to a 5870 2gb driving my 3 x 1920 x 1200 primary system.
I, too, am waiting to see what the performance specs look like later this month.
I'm with the OP on this one... does it work yet or not? I'm asking because I have the 5870 2gb with EyeFinity 6 outputs... is it time to buy a second for the crossfire support or not?
Try:
1. Make sure your graphics card is not OC'd. OC'ing caused mine to act in a similar manner... make sure to disable any graphics card auto-OC too.
2. Then maybe try for a graphics card BIOS update which may allow for more voltage to the display outputs. Read somewhere that a new BIOS update...
Thanks for the additional info Mr Mean. My kids play the BF series as well as MW2, etc, but I am currently hooked on Battleground Europe:WWII Online. WWIIOL doesn't take advantage of multiple GPUs yet, this I found out while trying to get the best framerates with GTX-275 SLi on a Matrox TH2Go...
The 3 I ordered back in Nov 09 are fine. I read about all the tinting issues and ordered with crossed-fingers. I am happy with my 3 A01 U2410s... gonna order a few more for my new 5870 2gb soon.
Not all games take advantage of SLI, so much as you need to manage profiles or make manual changes to games where SLI would have an effect.
Does Crossfire work the same way or is Crossfire different from SLI?
Does a game that doesn't take advantage of SLI benefit from a Crossfire setup?
The newer Eyefinity 6 (E6) cards have 6 mini DP ports (lol redundant?) but they only come with 2 adapters for each type of connection usually found on monitors.
In my case, I am using Dell U2410s and would like to use DP for all of them.
Before I make my purchase, do I need the less...
Thanks to Wicked at http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showthread.php?t=317935
as his info helped me the most... and I will not take credit for his work... and I take no responsibility for your system should you decide to try his or my steps/settings.
I used his guide as a baseline to...
I had tried using the MSI overclock utility which supports the board, but this usually resulted in lock-ups. Going straight to the BIOS settings produced the best results. It may turn out later that the MSI utility will only be good for some fine tuning since I wouldn't have to reboot between...
Update - Uninstalled, used DriverCleaner, reinstalled with 10.3a and everything works quite nicely. I'll try updating to the latest drivers later today/weekend.
Even though my NB cooler has screws, I still performed the removal, cleaning and reinstallation with AS5... before I did this my IOH temp was 84... after I did this my IOH temp runs 54-59. Great piece of work for the guy that first figured this out and posted his results and steps. This is...
