ive been feeling this way for years.... 50 year old gamer...so ive seen my share of great games and well... i did play ET on atari...talk about frustration. I first noticed a change back when PCgamer magazine changed its format... it went from in-depth well written articles to... some sort of...
Exactly.. In my opinion the Hulk movie should have been a monster movie.. Kind of like "Brightburn" but its not an alternate story. The Hulk cannot be reasoned with or stopped..it does not want wealth, fame or power... just pure destruction.. maybe add a hero like Hyperion... and they can leave...
Did not care for infinity war... especially the fight between Thanos and the Hulk.. Thanos rarely engaged in physical confrontations, especially with the Hulk, the watered down version of the Hulk in the MCU has always been horrible. I remember reading a story 20 or 30 years ago cannot remember...
I think crytek is pushing back a little... I'm not saying RTX -ray tracing is a slight of hand trick... but crytek just pulled a proverbial rabbit out of nvida's ass... lol
Wow... ive seen some bad movies... but this looks like total crap... i should know.. i watched the star wars Christmas special... i know what crap looks like.
Yeah... this is one of those things...where... you walk a thin line between freedom of expression and advocating real violence. A line must be drawn somewhere.... because if you let this go... i would hate to see whats next, but then again i play GTA and have kicked a few hookers asses to get my...
My daughter @ college in Vancouver BC, we had to send her a new phone (Michigan)... holy shit was it a pain in the ass... then it got flagged in BC.. luckily an employee corresponded with my wife.. so my daughter could come and pick it up. those Canucks are not all bad.. :)
Sounds like ADD to me. most games are built from the ground up for kids with ADD... constant action, icons all over the fricken place, power-ups, instant gratification.... good example... GTAV online... nothing but a bunch of Trevors running around... you have this amazing map/city that could...
I still have my G7 edge... love this phone.. but I'm on my 2nd battery case.. last (5000mAh) one took a shit, so my new case has a 8000mAh battery (can go the whole weekend easy)... so now my phone is about an inch thick and weighs about 1.5 pounds, and if fits great in my hand.. hate the curved...
I remember 3dfx glide and RRedline for my Rendition card... then physX... gameworks, tressfx... freesync and g-sync... now its rtx/dlss or whatever. All these are buzz words that mean... $$$ out of your pocket for new hardware and we still rare to find a game with decent AI, play-ability, story...
While i do not have a 4k TV (yet)...i have not used a disc in..... well i cannot remember. Streaming is just too easy... if you would have said back 10 years ago that i would not use a dvd or blu-ray player to watch movies... i would have been skeptical... now its just normal. Crazy how things...
Violent video games like many other inanimate objects are being used as a scapegoat instead of addressing the growing epidemic of mental illness in America.
The Punisher was good in Dare-Devil...I started to watch the P. series but then they started down the road of vets talking about getting guns for a revolution against the government... turned it off after that.
not to say RTX (ray tracing) isnt .... the future, but is it worth the implementation?, i mean, is it saving time or resources for the dev?...because in that demo, with RTX off, the game looks worse than a lot of titles that don't even have RTX..
BWAHAHAHA..... no fricken way i would let a robot get anywhere near me with anything sharp... what if that guy controlling it sneezes?... nope nope nope
"Folds arms"...nope aint going to do it.... im holding my ground. Pick your battles...this is mine!.. windows xp 3gb install, and i was happy... windows 10 comes along 48+gb install.... lost that battle...lol.
Because i hate having to install another piece of software just to play a certain game... in the future we will need an app to keep track of the store apps that keep track of games.... im old and hate change...lol.
I think Oculus going wireless is their best move looking forward... Expanding their market creating a SOC ecosystem for VR... Valve can afford to keep it tethered pushing the tech...love my Rift... but the competition is heating up for my next VR purchase... win win!
one game in years I'm excited about... one game! There's no fricken way im installing epic store software on my machine. So when its under $20 in a couple of years... maybe... but thats a big fricken maybe.
If we do not stop this.. (boycott) this game.. i know.. i hate that word... and i love competition.. but the last thing i want is 20+ distribution apps running on my PC with updates and stupid pop-ups hogging system resources.. just so i can play certain games.. f@ck that. Rather go back to...
Damn, i was excited about this game... first game ive been excited about in a long time.....damn it!. Last thing i want to do is have more crap installed on my PC.... this is stupid. Oh well... Maybe they will do a VR upgrade and put it on Oculus store... thats the only other store i have other...
Sounds like a beast.... but they always do before people get some real numbers. RTX (new physx) tech is just not exciting to me so if AMD delivers... might go red team next time, we shall see.
they went from slightly mad... to full retard... you never go....
Seriously though... you fall into 2 camps.. for the most part. Camp 1... consoles- relatively cheap, exclusive titles, easy learning curve, xbox live, or PSN.
Camp 2. PC- no need to explain that one... so where does this "mad...
Best VR accessory of 2018 ... Dramamine! seriously, i was able to play for hours without any nausea. Free movement games really get to me, Skyrim VR is one of the worst.. but Dramamine takes care of that... love it!
Well...it had a lot of reflective surfaces... very shiny, but is that our new direction?.. everything has shiny reflective surfaces?...meanwhile character animations still look like crap.
In a perfect world i would be fine with common sense rules ect.... however, when bureaucrats start regulation a free market/private company... i just cringe. Full disclosure in layman's terms of whats tracked, kept.. more user control with easy access to those options... but again, i would...
While i do not use google as my primary search or browser... they do not put a gun to your head and make you use their products. Its still a consumer choice. Not a fan of google... but any time you here the term.. "regulate".. run.. run fast
AMD has maneuvered themselves into a nice position. Consoles, and mid-range cards... Nvidia seems to have dug themselves a hole and now refuses to get out. I remember when AMD announced there strategy to release new tech in mid to low range first for market adaption then improve it over time...
One of the few marvel TV/film incarnations that did the original comic character justice... But if disney thinks im going to shell out more money for a new streaming service.. they can kiss my ass. Between Netflix, vudu and amazon... i got it covered, so i will miss out on them ruining another...
Half Life was a really great game... it had the right combination of action and story to keep me playing hours on end. One of the rare games that actually pulled you in and kept you there. Not to mention how well it ran on my budget rig at the time...
