How this guy didn't get neg feedback sooner, I have no idea. We all have a responsibility to leave feedback even if it means a retaliatory ding in return. If we can't leave honest feedback, Heatware is useless.
These things seem to unfold, and get caught within an hour or two generally, so maybe waiting a few hours before sending payment would add an extra layer of security.
But hey, that's just me. While I suspected it wouldn't be great, I hoped I'd be proven wrong. I am a big fan of the original trilogy, but this just didn't "feel" like a Matrix movie to me. I'd personally give it a 5 - 5.5 out of 10.
It needed more Ryan Reynolds, and less everyone else lol
I was probably hasty in calling in a turd, if we're being honest it just wasn't my cup of tea. Though I do love a good Reynolds comedy in general.
It does a disservice to women, in my opinion. Kill Bill is a fine example of an original film written for, and starring, a strong female lead - and a badass series of films.
I am a man of honor, and I am here to eat my crow. While I didn't expect it to be fantastic, I still thought the lemmings would make it a hit on name alone - I was wrong, nothing could save that horrid piece of excrement.
Yep, this has been my experience as well. Paypal's fraud prevention algorithm is a real mystery - I've had funds held for low value items at times, but not high value. Then there was the time they randomly closed my account, refused to explain why except to say 'suspicious activity', and would...
Depends on how you define normal. Now that consumers have exposed their hand, why would anyone sell for less than current? I can't see any good reason to charge less until people show they are unwilling to pay it, and I'm not sure we've even hit the ceiling on that.
I agree with most folks in this thread - some good advice being shared. Crypto is typically a no-go for me, unless it is an item that is tough to find elsewhere, and the seller goes through the proper steps to show me the sale is legit. Even then, there is serious pause. I've known about the 2FA...
Right on, congrats! I love the damn thing. The RAM is the only downside I could really find - I replaced it right away since I wanted 32GB anyway. The included SSD is serviceable but runs reallyyyyyyy hot compared to the 2TB I added.
I've been playing Amazon's new MMO - New World, and it runs...
Good info, and absolutely true. In fact, in most of my electronic failures a capacitor has been the culprit, and the device several years old. Most recently was a monitor with cheap capacitors - replaced and it's still working fine. These days, I'll typically just replace whatever it is that...
Really depends on the age of the PSU for me. If it's 8-10 years old, and I'm doing a new build, or major overhaul, I'll usually replace it. This is mostly paranoia, but I've seen some really awful crap happen when a PSU dies (took a motherboard, and 2 hard drives with it). Only time I've seen or...
I plan to post it, work has just left me deflated lately - I will likely post it this weekend. It's unopened in the original box, so that is how it will ship. I'll post up the weight, and dimensions, too.
I should've said this sooner, but THANK YOU to everyone for the replies to this thread. I...
Some pretty interesting perspectives in this thread. I knew streamers made bank, but phew. If I ever earn this type of cheddar, I'll kick a chunk at the crowd doing the real dirty jobs - sewage treatment, garbage men, and the people responsible for cleaning up the sidewalk dumps in San Fran...
Interesting stuff for sure. The leap ahead by Apple is good news even for the Apple haters like me - competition drives innovation. Still though, Apple can suck it. 😁
As it turns out, the problem seems to be the shift in the torrent world that I missed (my fault), and why my ratio slipped some on my other tracker.
For several years now, I've almost exclusively used auto-downloaders for media torrents (CouchPotato/SickBeard variations). I rarely torrent...
No one can ever know for certain, I think that was pretty obvious coming into this discussion. We'll never have the data to confirm either way.
I'll also say the naivete of the author, and the douchebaggery of those refunding aren't mutually exclusive - both are probably true.
Typically I'd agree, but it is priced accordingly, IMO.
Not piracy - they don't keep the game after refunded. One is legal, the other is not - that matters to some people.
Some of them are, yes, and they state as much. How do we ever truly know anything is good? You can't know it's good...
No replay value, essentially a one and done experience.
There isn't really an agenda being pushed - an abnormally large number of people are refunding a game with 'Very positive' reviews. It's anomalous. There were also posts on reddit (among other places) explaining the loophole, and how to...
It's a brand new in box Seasonic Syncro Q7 case (retails for $240). I'll do more research tonight, but it's looking like CL/FB Marketplace might be a better option so far.
Looks like I'd still be nearing $100 for shipping with UPS ground via Shippo for the case. Ouch. It's a big box... roughly 28"x15"x26" and 33lbs. Will check other Pirateship, and Paypal shipping link.
Here is the real issue - these people aren't getting a refund because they felt cheated, or disliked the game - they are leaving positive reviews, or at least not leaving a negative review (why wouldn't you, if you felt the game wasn't worth the price??).
These are cheapskate jerks looking to...
Don't recall ever selling a case - is it worthwhile? I'm thinking shipping might not be feasible due to cost, but maybe I'm wrong.
I have a BNIB Seasonic Syncro Q7 and PSU, but I have no need for them. Guessing it's either CL or take a big hit shipping it?
Wasn't trying to be rude, but I didn't have much to say that would be interesting/thought-provoking. Some things we agree on, or at least find a middle ground (it won't be a GREAT movie).
I do expect it to do well in theaters (relative to other BIG films in the pandemic) despite streaming same...
I was just thinking that myself lol
If you think about it, the youth people love to complain about were created by GenX/Millennial parents, so they are obviously to blame!
Strawman? No, I've been quite clear, but you seem to have strayed from the original intent...
He believes piracy can/will prevent Matrix 4 from doing well in theaters, and I'm arguing against that.
