    half life alyx issues?

Hmm, I'll look again. Performance is fine though. I don't think the Index's supposedly 120 Hz LCD is capable of drawing clear images at that rate. IPS and VA panels suck. Could be the low resolution is fooling me but no, my old TN monitor was much better.

    Anyone still play Quake Champions?

One guy huh? I actually don't blame Saber. I guess id got what they paid for. The game was such a disaster in every way imaginable. It takes conscious effort to ruin every gawd damn aspect of a game: - TAKES FOREVER TO EVEN START A MATCH, ESPECIALLY DUEL - TAKES FOREVER TO COMPLETE A MATCH...

    Anyone still play Quake Champions?

I just played a single FFA. Steam said there's been a big update with lots of improvements. Oh boy! Still runs like shit on linux and gameplay is as bad as ever. I'd rather play Warfork* lol * I actually did play some Warfork. It's just Warsow with worse sound and different art

It's sad. Supposedly intelligent people falling for kindergarden tribalism. I guess this is what happens when one realizes their superiority is about to end.

Hey, this is my favourite youtube channel making the news on [H] :) I honestly can't wait for AMD to address this market. The Pi is fine but I'd gladly spend a bit more money to get something significantly better in this same form factor

    Valorant

I strongly prefer Quake/UT to CS but this looks fun. I like the low detail style. Everything looks nice and visible. Don't mind abilities. So long as there are no free frags/escape abilities, like in Quake Champions (:shivers:), it should be fine. I need a new MP FPS. Just god back to TF2 and...

Hey, we haven't had a nice benchmark cheating scandal in awhile, so here's one!

Just finished the article. Checking for names is just lazy. It's funny they've been doing this for years without anyone speaking up. Remember when certain blue company was doing something much more sinister in their compiler back in the day? No worries if you don't, I haven't forgotten.

CBS Makes Star Trek: Picard Pilot Free On YouTube 'For a Limited Time'

Ah, the "I am old and bitter" rant Care to point the main differences between Jean-Luc Picard and JL? I think the show is stupid but still better than TNG - an unwatchable TV series starring uptight piles of molecules called people. Negotiating space treaties has never been more fun!

Doom Eternal accidentally ships without Denuvo DRM, making pirates’ job easier

Indeed. If you're allowed to physically go across the border and buy stuff cheaper, why can't you do it on the Internet. Just like companies can shop around the world looking for better quality/price of labour, we can absolutely do the same for their goods. Some people think globalization should...

    Half-Life: Alex (VR-only)

Ugh huh. It's slow in terms of there aren't enough action sequences where you get to use your weapons. Doom 2016 maps are basically interconnected arenas, and yet there are plenty of secrets exploration in between the fights. To me, exploration means "can I get to that ledge (or fall outside...

    Half-Life: Alex (VR-only)

18 hours in. Loving the game overall, though the slow gameplay is starting to get on my nerves. Give me more action, damn it. There are some weird bugs. I like exploration and spend considerable amount of time inspecting every little corner. That's how I sometimes get inside certain areas...

Why dont they just offload all floating point operations to the GPU in APU's?

I think that won't do unless the compiler is doing its job on the client machine. It can't know in advance what kind of GPU, if any, the target machine has.
