This is my game. Cool to see that it made it onto the hocp news.
Torque specs for critical fastens are coming along with all the tools (including torque wrenches). The only fasteners in that whole video that would need to be torqued to spec are the axle nuts. Eccentrics on this chassis are...
As someone pointed out, this looks like CAVE running euclideon's point cloud rendering.
There are dozens of reason why this sort of scan based point cloud/voxel rendering hasn't caught on. Basically, its' a state of the art image according to the parameters of 1995 computer graphics- Meaning...
Hello,
I have two 30" dell 3007WFP-HC for sale. Both have seen a lot of use but work. The backlight colors are pretty warm from age but I kept the profiled and had good color reproduction on them. One of them doesn't have any plastic case/bezel and has the LCD controls gaff taped to the bottom...
I'm not really sure which subforum is the best for this issue but since it seems to be display adapter issue I thought I would put it here. I am building a media PC into a piece of furniture and am using a chalkboard electronics touch panel to control it. This is basically a laptop screen out of...
I still can't get this to work- I have been through 3 displayport cables including a 3 foot certified cable.
HDMI 2.0 is a bust so far with 4 high speed rated cables between 3 and 6.5 feet. I just get a no signal error over hdmi 2.0. I am starting to think my 970 doesn't actually do hdmi 2.0...
It's not a consumer product and unfortunately I can't go into too much detail about it. Not really helpful.
I can say it is a large Innolux VA panel and the controller is rated for 10 bit color at 60hz and 4k.
I am trying out HDMI 2.0 today when I get a new cable for it.
I am having issues maintaining stable connection on a 4k panel at 60hz with 32 bit color. Reducing the refresh or color improves stability and I have the monitor OSD set to displayport 1.2 input. I have had a hard time finding a clear answer but Displayport 1.2 has the bandwidth for this...
Does anyone make a quiet 970 that runs that stock clock speeds? I bought a reference card for my work so that I had a test bench that matched out target hardware- The noise level with this PNY card is totally unacceptable. It is way louder than my zotac 780 was.
It has been a few years since I looked into this- Are there currently any software solutions for wide gamut panels in non color managed applications? I create content for and in non color managed software on a bunch of 3007WFP-HCs and constantly screen capping into photoshop for evaluation is...
I built a very similar stand back in 2011 for 30" monitors that uses a floor mount design. I also used a monoprice TV mount so that I could extend and retract the display group:
Did you use 1530 profile or 1020?
Without AA those games should be playable. "nice fps" isn't a very specific target but you should be able to get over 60fps with high settings (and no AA or aniso).
One of my dell 3007s has been intermittently losing signal. The screen goes blank and the blue power light goes amber. Often times it will start again after a few seconds. I have eliminated the possibility of it being a video card output or anything related to the physical connectivity...
I live in Chapel Hill and think this is awesome. The exemption for emergency calls is necessary but also totally mucks up enforcement. Cops can't/shouldn't be allowed to demand access to your phone.
I think you are confusing DVI-d with dual link.
suiken_2mieu's explanation makes sense. I should be good to go with my 3x3007wfp using one active adapter.
Can you elaborate on this and can anyone else confirm this to be the case on their cards? Is it just this abp that has one dual link dvi?
The hard ocp review says:
"In terms of output there are 2x dual-link DVI outputs, one HDMI and one full size DisplayPort on board. "
Edit:
Also, according...
iracing has the option to render each screen with a separate camera. You type in all the relevant details of display angle, size, and distance and it creates 3 cameras which provide an approximation of a cylindrical panoramic projection. The result is a largely distortion free natural sense of...
Has anyone actually done this successfully? Before I drop 550 + cost of one active adapter I want to make sure this works. I have read that on the 7970 you can use all outputs at once but I also know that in the past DVI and HDMI have shared bandwidth. So, has anyone here actually run 30"...
I spent a total of around a grand on all three of my 3007s. Watching Craigslist and being patient on ebay can pay off. I also had an lp3065 that I snagged for $200 and fixed for $50. Most of the time if the monitor's panel is good you can fix it yourself for less than $100 (and sometimes its...
Its one monoprice mount- this model:
http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082806&p_id=6517&seq=1&format=2
I'm not using the parts for the vesa mount because they are enormous.
the 3 monitors and swivel arm only weigh about 100lbs but the weight is...
What would happen if you got some adapters and reversed the direction of one of these passive splitters such that you had the fork side going to two source components and the other side going to a monitor? Would this work assuming you only had one of the two source devices powered at a time?
New iteration on my 3x30" mount. Now I can pull the group of monitors towards me or retract them if I want to use the desk surface. It's built from 8020 aluminum scraps and a monoprice mount.
Yeah those were my first thoughts as well.
The crash just happened again and I was fortunate enough to be listening to music at the time so I waited the song out to see if a new one would load. Music stopped after finishing the song so I am guessing it just continued to play because Itunes...
Everything is stock clocks/voltages and always has been. The thing that really makes this irritating is I was planning to do an ivybridge/kepler build in a few months. I don't want to throw a ton of money at a system that I don't plan to use for long.
I will mess with the memory. Once the PCIe test fails I will try loosening timings and then after that pulling half the ram.
If I run the ssd in IDE mode- don't I lose trim support?
I have an intermittent system hang that requires a hard reset about once a week. It's infrequent enough that it is very difficult to figure out what is causing the problem. When it does happen the monitors all go blank, the system will not respond to keyboard commands, things like keyboard...
yeah- but what I'm asking is if anyone knows if any brand comes supplied with an active adapter. 7970+two active adapters ends up being close to $800 with shipping.
Does anyone know which brands (if any) 7970s include an active display port adapter? I'm looking to move from an SLI setup to a single card for my 3x30" configuration. I did some looking on newegg and a few of them have the pinouts for dual link DVI but don't include any extra power source...
