Yeah I feel that the extra space on the sides definitely helps with getting the jump on someone that I might not have gotten previously.
As far as the desk, it is 65 inches wide. There aren't too many desks out there that are much bigger.
Coil whine fix for me: CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)....................:[Disabled]
I flipped this switch to Disabled from the defalt enabled and the coil whine went away for me. I think that it may actually still be there, but it is severely depressed, to where I can only hear it with my head...
The whining from mine seems to be dependent on what I am doing. When the computer is working harder, the whine comes on.
For example, on my normal desktop, I don't here anything. If I scroll inside of a PDF, I hear it while the page is moving.
Also, in WoW, when I look down out the...
I just got it setup and running, I haven't fixed that yet. Over at the widescreengaming forums, they have fixes for a lot of those types of things, so that your HUD will actually display on the center screen.
Hehe, I loooove TF2.
I just built my computer this weekend, with the HAF 922 as the case.
Here is a link to a photo album of me building it, which has many different shots of the case: http://img706.imageshack.us/g/dsc02962s.jpg/
Overall I really like the case. The fans are relatively quiet and installation...
I haven't gotten to play with it too much yet, but I am really happy that the Dell DVI adapter seems to be working fine. I was really worried that I might get a bad one.
I just got all of this put together yesterday and today.
The pictures of me building the machine can be seen here:

I have everything up and running now. My build is pretty much what Danny Bui laid out up above (Thanks!).
Here is a photo album of me putting everything together and the final product.

Edit: Updated to a better host.
I have heard the occasional whining sound coming from my PC, but I wasn't able to located which component it was coming from.
Is the sound that you are referring to a constant or intermittent noise?
Well, I have everything setup and running with the Dell adapter. I just plugged it in straight out of the box and everything is working flawlessly, I haven't had a single screen flicker.
Okay, I ran into another question. So I have 2 SSDs setup in raid 0 with no problems now, but my third drive that is intended for data doesn't show up under My Computer.
I can see this drive listed in the hardware dialog box and it shows it as the computer boots up. What am I missing?
Hey, just installed this into a HAF 922 today. P LED is short for Power LED. On the diagram on page 30 from your link, you want to plug these into the bottom right corner, at PWR+ and PWR-.
I am having a hard time setting up raid 0 on my SSDs. I went to the bios and switched the ICH SATA Control Mode to RAID(XHD), but then when I get to the "Press <CTRL - I> to enter Configuration Utility..." screen, it is like my computer doesn't catch that I press anything on my keyboard. It...
Well, I went ahead and took the plunge. I ordered all of my parts yesterday and decided to try out the adapter. I will keep you posted with my experience with it.
You just never can tell.
My dell laptop hard drive failed the day after the 1 year warranty expired. I orded a replacement hard drive, and the new hard drive is now going on 6 years and is still going strong. ***Knocks on wood***
Alright, I have to know. Is all of this hassle worth it for eyefinity?
I am on the fence about getting it, and it is purely because of all of the problems I have heard about with this adapter...
I really want to purchase the 25.5" Asus monitors, but I am considering the Dell 23" monitors...
If I were to go with eyefinity, is there any way to be able to use my existing monitor, for a total of four monitors?
By this I mean that I want to thave three monitors in landscape, then have my old monitor on an arm above the center monitor. Is there any hardware configuration that would...

Danny, I wanted to clarify on the video card. You did mean to purchase two 5870s and place them in crossfire, right?
Also, when picking a case from your list, do I need to be careful about looking to make sure that the components will fit, or should these components fit into any of those cases?
Thanks for the suggestions so far, I am very grateful for yall's time.
Are those Asus monitors good quality for gaming purposes?
Also, would the crossfire setup allow me the capability of doing eyefinty if I were to purchase a third monitor?
Do I need to purchase any special type of CPU...
