I have 10 hitachi drives that have all been fine. Most of the hitachis are 1 and 2TB versions in my vmserver. The only drives I have had fail on me as of late are the Samsung drives (400GB). I also have several maxtor, seagate and western digital that all seem fine as well (most of these drives...
I may have underestimated the costs of RAID controllers. I thought I could pick them up for cheaper. I'm working on building a vmware ESXi server so I can virtualize all of my personal servers.
Here is what I have so far:
Case: Norco 4020 -- $319...
I have been looking for a decent 16-port RAID controller that doesn't cost $600 - 1000. Is there one out there?
I need it to support:

Some of the AP's and Client cards have a Mobile Threshold value to allow you to set the dBm you wish for you client to start trying to find another AP.
For example, on a Cisco AP

There is another definition of WDS, called wireless domain services. It's related to secure fast roaming and credential caching.

Doesn't seem like it really applies, but just wanted to...
Well since you have all the IP's in the same subnet, there is only 1 routing table. So if you do a 'route print', it will show you the default interface.
It's pretty easy to root the phones and install whatever OS ROM you want. As well as add wifi tether support, etc.
You could root the phone, install the manufacturers ROM and then install tethering support. You could install a ROM from the HTC Hero onto a HTC G1 or MyTouch. Lots of...
For 20% more FPS overall (assuming the article is remotely correct), why not? There are a lot of people who will pay extra to get even less of a gain. There is nothing wrong with that.
The Motorola Droid and Nexus one are both nice phones. I think it comes down to:
Which network do you like better? Verizon or Tmobile
Verizon is more widespread.
Verizon has limited data to 5GB /mo
Tmobile is significantly cheaper.
Tmobile has no data limitation that I know of.

I would definitely not buy Fermi the first day it is out. I personally would wait and determine what is going on in the market. I want to see what ATI is bringing to the table.
I am going to wait until March when the new games and hopefully Fermi is released. I think the ATI cards will drop in price around that time and maybe enough for me to grab 2x 5870s for Crossfire.
Maybe ATI/AMD will have the Bullet Physics implementation?

I have never found a Microsoft or Razer mouse that I actually like. I don't like the feel of the razers at all and the microsoft mice i have tried are totally inaccurate. For gaming purposes, I only use logitech (G9 atm). Although, I do want to check out the MadCatz Cyborg mouse.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Maybe the above is why?" Are you talking about Brightness? I turned Brightness down from 100, since it was hurting my eyes. That's what I was talking about. I like the user setting of RGB 100 better than nature, to me it makes whites look more well white :P
