If you're looking for a FE, you can camp on the NVidia store. Their 1080Ti's are periodically in stock. They're showing a 3-4 week lead time, but they're going for $699 .
Location would help. I'll assume North American.

If you can obtain some temporary server resources, (possibly even pressing a decent PC into service), I'd stand up a temporary Esxi host and convert the DC to a VM.
This way you can take the old server offline and move the VM online with minimum down time. Once you know the new system can...
I also have a large hand and switched to the G502 after the death of my G500. I currently use one of these: http://www.amazon.com/IMAK-PRODUCTS-SmartGlove-Wrist-A20127/dp/B00Q2X7ZCK/ref=sr_1_3?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1432477319&sr=1-3&keywords=smartglove+large
You are trying to install from the usb stick? Have you tried a CDROM, (if you have one)
Can you try using another computer to do the installation to the hard drive and then move it to the system you want to use as a server?
This will tell you if you having problems running Esxi on the...
At first I was concerned that a thread on HH about action figures was running 5 pages. I'm relieved to see that a lot of the posts are about playing video games:o
I recently had to replace a kit of Dominator GT.'s They shipped me Dominator Platinums, the 1.5v ones.
(Of course I had to go out and buy the light kits for them.) Damn you, Corsair and your subtle DRAM lighting!)
Could you use a PCI-E extender cable and reorient/relocate the card to some place in the case that it fits? You might be able to use a display-port or HDMI adapter as short extender to get the video to the outside of the case.
It's a little hard to tell from the resolution of the images, but it looks right. A part number or link to the manufacturer's site would be definitive.
However, it probably not much of an issue anyway. You could mount a SSD to almost anywhere with Velcro it you needed to.
One of these...
I think the runtime is based on a continuous load, (which would be both full and average.)
Check the graph on the product page: http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BR1000G
If you asking if it considers peak load, (like during drive spin-up during boot), I don't...
APC has tools for calculating runtime, (primarily for their units.)
By load:
http://www.apc.com/tools/ups_selector/US/en/home/load
By device:
http://www.apc.com/tools/ups_selector/US/en/home/device
You could use it to get a rough estimate. Just be sure to specify the home versions as...
Depending on what your utility uses to produce power, there may be other reasons for not leaving a 100 watt device on continuously: http://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/energy/question481.htm
That said, at work we typically leave things on for decades. But compared to the plasma...
I moved from the G5 to the G500, and I'm currently on the G502. I'm "satisfied", but still miss the previous versions.
What I find annoying, is that there is almost no way to determine the ergonomic aspects of the mice on the market without buying one. Bestbuy is probably the last brick and...
Doesn't ASUS have a Advanced RMA service now? I've heard enough horror stories about them that I brought an Asrock MB during my last update so I have something as backup.
I'm curious about anyone's experience?
While I almost placed an order a couple weeks ago, (thank god, they were out of stock), all my previous interactions were very positive. It's a shame it turned out so poorly for everyone involved.
Wouldn't it be nice it motherboard manufactures had "Bios upgrade simulator" on they website? Nothing too elaborate, just something that would let users move thought the menus in an environment where failure doesn't risk a expensive piece of hardware. (And potentially strand the users without a...
I second this. I just tired to help a nephew move to a new smaller case and motherboard. I'm waiting to figure how many hundreds I will end up losing. I could have easily purchased new CPU/MB/Ram for the same amount and also had a warranty.
What is MSI RMA policy?
I know ASUS has an Advanced RMA service now, but I've never heard anyone talk positively about their dealings with ASUS. Fortunately, their products seem to be pretty solid.
