I just bought MW2 on Steam today for $15. Not worth it to me to hand over $60 + $10 monthly fee but I am sure to some it is. Go figure :rolleyes:.
I say go DSL and HTPC... I can feel the HTPC surge comming now! When cable companies get the picture and become rational again them I may go back but DSL is doing fine by me at the moment. My cable company used the excuse they wanted to limit file sharers to limit how much we could download...
I ditched my cable for DSL 2 years ago because of my cable company's download quantity cap and internet content (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, ect.) No reason to go back really.
So is there software to monitor my router for changes and shut it down if there are unauthorized changes or it resets? Can I sue the router maufacturer for it crashing if I was to be sued by RIAA or whom ever? Or would that be pointless.
Maybe we just need to make sure our networks are...
I have a wireless router with my PC's wired in and only had my childrens Wii and I netbook I almost never use on the wireless. I had secured my network BUT the router crashed and reset itself to default opening up my wireless network for all to use for a couple of months. I didn't notice that...
