Blair Witch I wasn't to keen on. Cloverfield I enjoyed, even if I did get sea sick watching it (Horrible camera motion, I know it was the point) But This looks enjoyable.
What is with all the Minnesota Hackers? Geez. I know we have winter people but for fuck sakes go outside already!
/Lives in MN (Remember the Blaster worm, yeah, That Punk... Jerk!)
Which makes sense, since R&D is expensive and GlobalFoundries probably hasn't restocked the coffers yet. Smaller is better. Or at least thats the idea here.
My opinion on Making a dual GPU solution to combat noise for Single GPU performance is highly critical. I can see nvidia Making that claim, and some of it may even be a legit concern, but as a business practice it seems ridiculous.
Thant being said, I think Nvidia at a certain level WANTS this...
Without going into to much detail, We were basically doing it all wrong, We ended up Going with a PAT translation on the Firewall directly to our SQL Server, Which we can then generate the SSL Certificate for. Then we're just securing the third parties ODBC connection.
Thats the Short term...
Thanks PTNL, Thats the road we're travelling down now. We can't seem to decide weather or not to give the DMZ its own domain as another layer.
Basically we'll be putting a SQL Server in our DMZ that gets its info from an internal database initialized connection.
Thanks PTNL for the response.
[H]ard Users and SysAdmins are the Best, So I'll pose this question to you guys:
(Precursor, I'm a fairly New Network Admin, I inherited a mess with the position and I'm fixing it piece by piece)
We dont use Certificates inside our internal network, as much as I would prefer to, so Im not...
I love my Ryobi, Personally. For small projects it should be more than enough. I could see where a contractor would have an issue with it. But I'm not a contractor. Their new Li-ion batters are the shit though.
Thats great. Now can we please get voice recognition to work so we can get rid of this damn mouse an keyboard? I just want to walk in my front door and say "Play some goddamn music, I had a bad day" and it will. I've tried teaching the girlfirend, but she left,(Shock?) so now I need other...
Forget the cards Kyle, your my new hero for having Legos out on the kitchen table like snack food.
Now back on Topic; Could this be in response to a few (Read: Single) "nvidia only" Third party Venders shutting down? Nvidia's long term strategy had nothing to do with retail last I checked...
Porn industry: You downloaded monkey sex, pay up or we go public
Dude: Ok, how much?
RIAA: You Downlaoded Celin Dion, pay up or we go public
Dude: Ok, How much?
I can see the similarities....
I'm gonna call shenanigans. I need more proof than some dude on twitter saying he's having a heart attack. If this was just for the attention, He should get tasered until he has one for real. Period.
First off, Did he really just make Net Neutral fans their own religion in one paragraph? (Googling CoENN produced the above article, yet no relevant redirection to said organization, which would more than likely, given its cause, at least have a website)
Does this person really think Name...
...and the cubicle neighbor is doing his best whack-a-mole imitation possible. This guy needs a hug. And an escort, out of the building.
[H] makes my morning once again.
Unfortunately, you're talking about Nvidia, who really botched their last release by 6 months. Ducks in a row = Not something they are particularly good at at this juncture in time. They can't launch anything on time, and I certainly wouldn't want them to rush a product out the door. See Iphone...
If they give out $3 dollar bumper cases for free with $40 billion in the bank, I would return my phone, and they would not be allowed to ask questions. This is ridiculous. I personally would never own one, but the way Apple is (not) handling this is obsurd.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I think the merit lies in the lack of disclosure of the 5 year Apple/ATT Agreement. They were selling 2 year contracts that were actually 5 year contracts, If you decided to keep your Iphone. The "exclusivity" of the Iphone may end up hurting...
Lets put it this way, Our current environment is a Single Xeon Quad Core with 4GB Ram. The Cdrive was made way to small, and everyone uses it. Its a 32bit 2003 flavor.
We don't have room on the VM's for more than 24GB of Ram, and I would like to dedicate 16GB if possible. Blades are in the...
I need to setup a Terminal Server 2008 for approximately 100 concurrent connections. The application people RDP in to use is a resources hog. I'm Looking for some Spec Recommendations or Infrastructure recommendations.
64 bit is a must.
Should I do two separate servers each with quad...
I concur with Danman, And they will be reborn. Something about this seems too strange. Being a private company, we'll never know of any buyout offers or anything behind closed doors, but someone had to have made a play for a buyout. Something isn't right with this. And whoever said EVGA is...
One head crash away from complete Data annihilation. The extra capacity is nice, but for RAID arrays it becomes moot, and RAID arrays is really where Data security comes into place. It may seem more expense, but its worth it if a drive crashes.
I think the debate here is a lot like the Drivers license debate. Sure, some people pass the test. They cant read the signs on the road or signal, but they can pass the test. I'm going to use old people as an example (lets say 80+) because I think the demographic is the same, For both...
Its a chart on the internet throwing out random stats....
If this makes you angry, You should turn off your computer, unplug it, and throw it out the window. Because clearly,if you don't like this chart, you are about to kill somebody.
