Expensive is relative though. It's more like 2/3 a day's pay, and a hell of a lot more affordable than Nvidia's offerings. And as you pointed out... it's well made.
Shintai, you hate AMD, it's clear. What is also clear is that you are trying to downplay any benefit that Vega brings to the table. Really, I think you need a moderator assisted break from the AMD sub forums.
Doesn't look like you have much of a choice.

Will the Ryzen chipsets and Vega cards improve crossfire capability? Have there been rumors of this? I'm mulling over my options for upgrade paths, and whether I should even consider CF as an option.
He's an annoying little shit, but he gets the clicks. I curse myself inwardly when I wind up watching one of his videos, because I can't find what I'm looking for on another channel.
Money talks. If I get *most* of the performance for a lot less cash, then I'm in. I'm pretty sure most of us are just tired of throwing our wallets at the same manufacturer after a decade.
The more I think about it, the more I think I might go for the 4/8 over the 8/16, unless the release timeframe is way out. There aren't enough games (I only really game on my desktop) that take advantage of 8 cores at this point.
I know it's not entirely relevant, but this is a reason I like my manual. I have to pay attention, but when I'm in a situation where I feel like I could get rear ended, or even accidentally accelerate, I'll stick it in neutral. That way even if I inadvertently hit the gas, I'm not going to make...
That's the thing though. He's not lying, he just doesn't understand, so he's giving his misinformed opinion on what happened to the tablet, as he does for many things.
I would still like a very nice monitor/TV. No need for a built in "smart" OS. Just enough to do scaling, and switching inputs. IE, let the screen display, and let the attached device do the processing grunt work.
It doesn't have to be wow-like... but I prefer quicker, more precise combat. I play GW2 mainly these days, and even that's barely doing it for me. I'm going to delve back into BDO over the holiday and see if it's gotten any better than NA release.
