Hey guys, I just got this bored and I have a problem. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate and can't seem to get it to see more than 2 GB of RAM. I'm currently using Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 998679
Not going to buy either. I was interested in getting MW2 for the PC before but ever since they announced no dedicated servers, no thanks. Console controls (for any fps) are so shitty that it isn't even worth buying
I might have skipped this while I was skimming your post but, what are you using for your physx card? Also, for the first build, have you tried using an nvidia card as the main card?
Sorry for the necromancy but I'm getting ready to build the computer now.
I purchased and i7 920 from microcenter already and a cosmos 1000 case from the CM store (refurbished). I was wondering what motherboard to go with? I plan on using SLI/Crossfire.
Ah alright then, I was assuming that you were talking future-proofing concerning upgrade path. Anyways, do you plan on buying everything from newegg? I see that you're in Chicago and there's a microcenter there. You can buy the 750 for $159.99 + tax
How are you going to future-proof if you switch to an 860? It's basically the same socket as the 750. If you want to future proof, get an i7 920. The i9 Gulftown will be on the 1366 socket
