Seems to be discontinued, at least here in my country.
I wouldn't wait if I were you.
Do you even know if you have problems with flickering LEDs or do you just want to be on the safe side?
So... what have the input-lag been measured to on your current monitors?
Do you even have a clue?
The lag on computer screens is one to three hundreds of a second.
It's a none issue for the vast majority. In games that is.
You did try out one of the pixel reviving programs, right?
My experience is that many people don't even know about these. :(
It's always worth a shot.

Dell's touch screen, 21½ inch IPS
Dell ST2220T was the model name. It's actually cheap, at least here in Sweden. 250 euros for a touch screen
Both TFT Central and Flatpanelshd have reviewed it.
Actually, your monitor has plenty of ghosting, it's only that you can not see it.
I'd get Samsung's 27-incher. It has a better (non-grainy) anti-glare coating than the competitors.
The Korean monitors might be cheap, but you can't adjust colors on them (except via graphics drivers, but...
Umhh.. *hawks*
The U2412 is not among the faster IPS panels out there, not that it matters to most people, but it's smaller brother U2312 should be somewhat faster and the old U2410 is way faster than both those.
I have no idea about HP's offering, but since they share panel I guess they are...
Why do you make such a fuss over input-lag?
Have you read all these reviews and gotten the idea that it's something that matters?
To most people it does not.
I guess you already have a LCD monitor, right?
And you don't notice any input-lag on that one?
If you want correct colors, you...
Are you kidding me?
The Benq is not fast at all, the predecessor XL2410 was horrible, the updated XL2420 is of course not as slow but still not fast, certainly not for 120 Hertz monitor.
Check out TFT Central's review.
I would save my money if I were you, paying 300 - 400 dollars for...
Good that I'm not to late.
Bad that not someone else posted this.

Obviously I don't know if the gamut restriction thing really works for the S2433, since I don't own that monitor. But it's certainly worth a try.
There's an...
TonypTony, are you Tamahagane's one-egg twin?
No?
Do you see where I'm going? ;)
Regarding the choice between the Foris FS2331 or EV2333WH, it should be obvious if there's not a huge price difference.
The overdrive function might be slightly faster on the foris 2331. I haven't seen anyone...
That is white glow / IPS glow and the 2209WAs is the master of white glow.

Yeah, Senna89, why are you ruling out PVA panels, or more specifically the cPVA ones if you want a new monitor?
I'm pretty sure the high lag was adressed in later revisions, but people tend to forget that manufacturers can actually make changes to products during their life cycles.
Hard to capture white glow in a room with sunlight flooding in. :p
Tim James: Get another, secondary monitor. Preferably a cPVA one.
They're cheap and have superb black levels.
There are no 4:3 LCDs with more than 60/75Hz.
A used CRT can't be hard to find, sure, web sites and magazines aren't filled with advertisements, but that's because you only get pocket change for them nowadays. :(
Put up wanted ads yourself. Why not in your neighbourhood, so you don't have to...
Not what this thread is about, but there are IPS monitors with a faster response time.
Average ghosting over ten frames
U2311
0,7 colored, 0,4 transparent

U2410
0,4 colored, 0,3 transparent...
You want less ghosting than your current screen? On which you said you didn't notice any ghosting at all... Everything points to you not being sensitive at all to this, just like most other people.
*sigh*
The specs are mostly numbers without meaning.
You can tell if a monitor has an IPS/VA panel or TN by looking at the viewing angles, that's about it.
There are no monitors with really good black levels except the ones with Samsung's 23-inch cPVA and Benq/AOU's MVA-equivalent.
Found in these...
Can't really tell.
Okay, I extended the HardForum browser window to cover both monitors and scrolled up and down, and yes, there is a difference.
The problem for me is that one monitor has overdrive disabled, the other one has it enabled (can't even be shut off).
I always thought it was that...
So, you're going to return a monitor because of one stuck pixel?
How's the uniformity?
I wouldn't be so confident in getting a monitor that's any better than the one you already have.
And as I wrote, run the two progams that can revive stuck pixels.
Smart of you to be careful
Have a look at this

One single stuck pixel on a 30-incher isn't much to bicker about!
They have almost 4 million pixels, and with three sub-pixels that will equate to 12 million!
Try not to look for it and hopefully you will forget where it is in some time. :)
But you could always try jscreenfix (.com) or udpixel...
Hmmpf. :(
If you're right about that, it feels like a disaster to me.
But my guess is that it can vary from different OLED panels.
Is everyone sure they never use some kind of filters on OLED monitors?
Because if they do, that might be what fucks up the angles. Or perhaps reflections...
I'm not so sure about that.
:eek::eek:
Of course there are some people who are über-sensitive. They see ghosting/blurring on all LCDs and find it irritating. However, they are a tiny, tiny minority.
We've already established that you certainly aren't one of those.
In fact, you wrote that...
Haven't seen nor the U2211 or U2311, but they certainly don't seem better to me.
From Digitalversus' review
"We did, however, find another problem on the U2211H: it has narrower viewing angles than we're used to on IPS screens. Moving away from the centre of the screen, the brightness rapidly...
As I wrote earlier, sitting with your upper body in front of the monitor doesn't mean much.
If I position myself with my head 50-55 cm from my 22 inch monitor (yes, "in front of it", actually, one of my eyes are in front of the upper right corner), there seems to be an angle of 40 to 50...
You can't really compare like that, since the 16:10 one is more square.
A 22 inch 1:1 monitor would have a size of 242 square inch.
A 22 inch 16:10 monitor 217.58 sq. in.
A 22 inch 16:9 monitor (if there were any) an Image area of: 206.76 sq. in.
A 23 inch 16:9 monitor Image area...
No, it is not.
It is just something that have been repeated over and over and over again by tens of thousands of people who don't really know that much.
Ask yourself, do you see much ghosting on your old 19" TN monitor?
Please, let us all know the answer to that.
They're considered...
Hmm, not really my area, but from the reviews I've read the U2410 and U2711 both have about 25-30ms delay in normal mode.
However, the U2410 has a gaming mode that brings it down to around 15ms.
Things might have changed with later revisions though, normally the reviews come out when a...
